shame to see wee Matthews going off… how good a signing has he proved to be? As for big Lustic he just keeps getting better each week. We are blessed to have these two on board …. and they cost nothing!! I hope both ot them remain in the hoops for years to come.

HT Hearts 0-1 Celtic
Lively first half as it always is at Tynecastle. This Hearts team are going to struggle this year. They have worked hard but do not look like they have a goal in them. We have played well although have struggled with the final ball into the box. Some great movement from us in midfield with Brown and Ledley doing well in the centre. Shame Mathews had to go off as he was playing well. Derk struggling to find space but has managed to use the ball well when he has it. Virgil looks a find. Very composed in defence and going forward with great distribution.
The penalty was soft. Both players challenged for the high ball, it was won by Stokes and the ball hit the Hearts defenders hand as he came back to ground. Definitley ball to hand but perhaps technically could be given as the hand was outstretched but I would not like to see that given against us. Great finish by Kris.
Another goal and we could go on to get 4 or 5 here.

Playing well and main concern -beyond Collum- is that we pick up injuries. Moving ball about well – I’d like to see Derk actualy taking his man on a bit more though

My take on the penalty is this. His arm would never have been up there if he wasent trying to manhandle stokes , the header was goalbound his arms were outstretched, sure he was close to stokes but its a penalty all day long for me.
Lets get a few more goals celtic .
