Another very creditable performance so far. AJ will probably get sent off for a 2nd yellow having been booked for a perfect tackle. Such seems to be our fate away in Europe.
Jamesy has been a good outlet, Yang not so much. I don’t doubt the lad has decent future potential, but he’s way out his depth at this level for now. Like a dug chasing a poly bag on a windy day. The plc having a laugh giving us this level of project player for this standard of football.
If we can hold out for a draw I’ll be delighted, but we’ll probably find a way to lose unluckily.
Matt o’riley, yang & barnardo could improve. Yang needs to be more aware of who is around him. Barnardo needs to see what’s in front of him. matt o’riley needs to find himself

I thought both GT and AJ have had some pretty poor moments, AJ’s almost led to us conceding. AJ did improve as the half wore on.

Both full backs now have to be smart. Lazio will be roaring for a second yellow should either mistime a tackle in the second half. Be smart, stay goal side and stand your man up and wait for reinforcements, nothing risky.
Upfront, Yang is a passenger. Bernardo has broken up play and won a few frees but Yang has offered nothing in that first half.

Our makeshift side have looked fairly secure without troubling lazio at all . Lazio are no great shakes so I’d like to see us putting their goal under a bit more pressure . Kyogo looks lively but is getting nothing to feed off .
Shame we don’t have our strongest 11 out . If it’s still 0-0 after 60/70 minutes we should bring Oh on and have a real go . Nothing to lose .
Most of the time, this would be considered a mature away European performance. The nagging feeling comes from the fact we need to win – and that’s due to the home defeat.
Lazio really are no great shakes and it still irks me we got nothing in thr home game.

Bernardo is the cutest player for an away Euro game we have but he creates nothing except free kicks we have squandered so far.
