Starry , next Wednesday’s game could be special for us.
No doubt the media will try and stir things up but we should have our normal pre match build up , not treating the opposition any differently from any other team.
The Bridgeton and Larkhall Linfield supporters clubs will no doubt be in with their brethren.

Yes Brendan is very diplomatic.
This is going to be a difficult season for him.
Let me explain what I mean…he has raised the bar very high after last year, group stages OF CL ,invincible treble, great signings, brilliant coaching and improving of guys already at the club, changing games with inspired substituitons and all done playing spectacularly brilliant football. How does he maintain that? And if standards slip slightly will there be moans and groans ???

Sorry I never made BH last week. Once in TRNSMT you were not allowed out and re entry, unlike most festivals.
See they have booked the Green for TRNSMT next year before the DOBs.
Makes sense. It brought peace, love, music and huge revenue to Glasgow, unlike the orange hate show the week previous.

All joking aside. That is not far off the level of expectation.
I know no one seriously thinks we can win it but I would imagine the vast majority of us think we can at least finish 3rd in the group and have a run in the Europa league.
But the reality is that we may not even qualify for group stages.
Let’s hope we do of course and if we do then the pressure is off and the season is a success before September starts

InvincibleGG,
Yea, although don’t they normally play it about now?
As for the ref.
I reckon he was briefed to keep the lid on he game and panicked in the second half.
There was nothing contentious in the first half, therefore he was suitably anonymous.
The first part of he second half, similarly.
However, at the 63rd minute, something riled the pets in the corner and the batteries and containers started to fly.
This is when the ref lost it.
He took the line of least resistance.
Instead of calling the cops and stewards to the scene, he booked LG.
He remembered his brief. No major incidents. Stopping the game would have been a major incident for UEFA.
After that, tired legs and, perhaps, emotion, brought out a serious of late, dangerous tackles.
Again, remembering his brief, instead of punishing the home players and risking further upset amongst the Palleteers, he embarked on a book-the Celt campaign.
Tomorrows/today’s game should be a feast of football and an antidote to tonight/last night’s poison.

Was subjected to similar type of abuse playing junior football in Ayrishire as Griffiths got tonight. I know I know there’s no comparison.
Ref booked me after I walked towards and showed him the shower of spittle, coins and cups of bovril that accompanied me trying taking a throw in near side to the Kilwinning Rangers fans.
“If you’d taken the throw in faster none of this would have happened, had you gone down I’d have stopped the game” sez he, as I was cautioned for time wasting.
They gave the ref a rendition of the sash, chanting his name in honour.
