Standing at Ski slope watching sons doing snow boarding. Came straight from dons football so happily avoided Even listening to Celtic..great to see we have the three points but this team is hard of learning when it comes to early goals it appears..

Lenny needs to instill fear and drive in to these players..

Well the homer of a referee allowed Motherwell to boot Celtic up and down the park all afternoon but it didnt do them any good as Celtic showed fighting spirit all the way.Paddy did well when he came on he ran through there defence at will good goals from Stokes and Hooper Sammi and Kayal worked hard and Victor judst gets better and better there is much more fight in the team without Ki.I am delighted for Lennie the pundits all thinking if we lost to Rennes and then to Well which was a posability that would be his Managerial carreer at Celtic finished.Well even without all our injuries Lennie and the team showed a togetherness and wone both games well done Bhoys.H.H.

No coincidence that Richmond was brought back for this game.

Disgraceful decisions against a team of utter thugs.

    Well done Celtic.

    Great team spirit and performance.

  5. McCall: ‘their familes should all be proud of them’. Are the Murderwell players all called Manson?

  6. It’s time for Lawell to call out Mr. Fleming and Reagan with an official statement that we are calling the officials integrity into question.

Time to boot the proverbial boot in.

Shocking display not that our wanna be VEGETABLES will take note

  7. Brilliant Bhoys absolutely brilliant,

What a bunch of disgusting horrible players and officials, that was the first time for ages that the cheating could not beat us-

Two weeks rest from getting kicked of the park awaits, great fighting spirit today.

CSA should demand a meeting with Regan about refereeing standards.

Hard fought win for the Celts. Forget about all this whingeing about the opposition, dig deep, dig it out! We done it Wednesday, we did it again today. Well done Neil Lennon’s Celtic team, bit of character coming back into the bhoys.

  9. Well done Celtic and Neil Lennon.

Confidence inspiring win, especially after all that was thrown at us today.

Remember, we’ve still got half a team to come back.

Today is not a day to have a go at the team, especially if you never saw the performance of murderwell and that cheat Richmond.

Vital result but Lennon screaming for Stokes to play the ball into the corner from a freekick at the edge of the box against Motherwell sums up just how far we’ve fallen.

Utter nonsense. Any sensible manager would ask for the same.

  12. Good enough performance from Celtic despite little protection from the semi retired, referee, who noticeably decided after Celtic went in front, to try and cover his biased performance by finally punishing an overly physical Motherwell with a red.

Celtic did well to recover quickly from a marginal decision, against them for Motherwell’s goal.

Very pleased that NL’ s substitutions finally paid off and McCourt deserves great praise for taking the role of super sub, and his dribble was undoubtedly the moment of the match, in unlocking the Motherwell defence.

It was a like a game against eleven hammer throwers, with hammer throwing officials.

Well done Celtic, onwards to consistency and normality.

  13. viewfaethewindae on

Absolutely disgraceful performance from both Motherwell and the referee. Motherwell took young Forest out the game and the referee allowed it to happen. Is it any wonder Scotland can’t produce decent footballers, shame on McCall and shame on the ref. Well done Celtic and well done Neil for the match winning substitutions.

I didn’t think the Clancy kick merited a red card but Motherwell can have no complains

    You related to Clancy?

Its an assault from behind, he kicked his opponent he should have been charged

This was a HUGE game for the Tims and they are as FLAT as last nights Beamish…..

    Funny that.

    HHH.

We should make an official complaint about the referee, especially since we won the game. They will still try and accuse of sour grapes but who cares.

KC was assaulted everytime he touched the ball, he didn’t have the opportunity to settle in. He also went to cover from JF to prevent the lad from taking a further beating, even though wee James should not have been out there today.

  19. First things first,…I think we done well considering the bad patch we have had….we knew it was going to be a physical test, and had to match them for it….we didnt feel sorry for ourselves when we went behind and grabbed the points with conviction…we are building now and can get momentum going…..

Now,…I will not be the first to say this, but that referees performance was diabolical. No protection given to our players, if he dealt with then reagan should go…a “kick them off the park” tactic cannot and should not be tolerated….

  20. Sitting in Kelvengrove watching the game unfold via CQN is a mare.

When the blog goes down you know either the MIB has facilitated Hunnery, the defence has taken a gun to their feet or Celtic have scored in the face of Blatent mibbery.

The wait to find out though is stomached churning guy wrenching…

And then the News comes through.

Headphones on MWD shouts out “Ya Dancer” as the BMXers, skaters etc look at me as if I’m nuts (well I am but yoos knows what I mean).

  21. I have to say that was one of the most blatant anti-Celtic refereeing performances I have ever witnessed. Richmond should hold his head in shame. Celtic need to make big noises about this. We cannot accept this. They must not be allowed to get away with this. Motherwell players were allowed to kick and assault Celtic players with relative impunity. When Burley more or less tells you that Jennings should be off the park, “His previous challenge was a yellow and that one was too in my opinion” then it speaks volumes. Lasley was booked and committed three further fouls “Lasley goes to ground again. He’ll have to be careful.”

It was shocking but our players coped brilliantly. Well done to them and to Lenny for winning in the face of adversity. One game at a time ghuys. Fight, battle and snarl your way back into this Championship race. The rest of Scotland wil have been frustrated at today’s result. Let’s do it to them every week.

  22. Afternoon all,

We were sure up against it today but delighted to beat the Lanarkshire thugs and get one over that wee bastard McCall. Kicked to bits from the first whistle to the last but great to see some true grit and determination shown from Celtic, reminiscent of the fight we showed last season. Had to laugh when I put on Radio Hun to hear wee Chico and co. singing the ref’s praises and summarising the game as “Celtic beat 10 mean motherwell with an offside goal.”

Ach well, always so sweet to win against 12 men than 11.

Great week for us, let’s hope we can get a bit of a run going now. Hail Hail!

  23. The end game is coming for football in the best wee bigotted country in the world.

    .The cheating is beyond belief.

Change has to happen or there is no point in us playing.

We will never get a fair shake.

  24. Radio Scotland spent a lot of time discussing the referee at the end of the game only to decide that there wasn’t really an issue and he’s a good referee after all. Unbelievable.

I wonder what John Clarke thinks about the fiasco that Celtic now is

    ======================================

He’ll be thinking about how ye’re choking on it ya worthless wee HUN. GIRFUY.

THAT was a performance – Estadio, think about it – in the face of everything the Hun establishment could muster.

Richmond – Auchinleck scumbag Hun, parachuted in to facilitate crisis. FAIL.

McCall – Unspeakable Hun ned pseudo-‘Scotchman’, sets his team up to kick the bejesus out of us with referee’s endorsement. FAIL.

Neil Lennon, the Celtic players, and support – Took it, gave it back, victorious through character and skill. WIN.

WORST challeng eof the day – I lost the plot at Craigan’s elbow in Sammi’s ribs. I played that position, did that myself. Watch an close-up replay: cold, calculated assault, fit only for the Sunday league.

All we currently lack in that side is another Neil Lennon; someone to break the will of hammer-throwing illegitimate sons of backstreet Bangkok jackals like Lasley and Jennings; big Vic might grow into that man.

But I’d like to see an enforcer with a bit of ability shipped in January to shore up the rest of the season; A sane Joey Barton type. Another Roy Keane.

Meantime, well done the Hoops. Now for the liquidation of the Edminston Drive Diabolicals to round off the year.

  27. aye, how far we’ve come!! we stood up today , kept our composure and our class won the 2 points. Lenny was right to ask the ball be played into the corner to run the clock down – 3 points was the goal , not 3 goals!

  28. Great week. Motherwell were disgraceful, they set out to kick James Forrest out of the game and Ref aided & abetted them. Still a lot to work to be done but the spirit & heart is back. Its just as well there is an International break, help get a few of the lads back. Matthews is coming on in leaps & bounds Should be starting every game. Agree with previous poster delighted to see the lads playing in the Hoops.
