That was a team performance today. Everyone played their part and to overcome a side that was allowed to kick by a bent ref was a tremendous result.
Motherwell were reduced to 11 men after the sending off.
Chick bemused by ordering off. Apprarently you can swing at someone and get away with it if you don’t make contact. Also insists the winner was offside before describing how onside it was: hunbelievable

I thought that was a big-hearted performance today- sloppy, as usual, for their goal and slightly impotent in the final third (KC looks like a shadow of himself), but I always thought we’d win, even in the face of terrible tackling from Murderwell and some cheating from the Ayrshire MIB.
Hately is gutted, so I’m ecstatic.

Make no mistake – that was some win today. We weren’t allowed to play our game but every man out there dug deep and scraped out a win. In the end, Paddy won the game for us. He was the only player out there who was comfortable with the ball at his feet but it was a team performance, a battling win. Full marks to the defence in the second half. We really tightened things up and didn’t give Motherwell a sniff at goal. Great to see Hooper score again – maybe this is the start of a run of form for him.
Lenny can take a breather now and hope the intenational Bhoys do well for their respective countries. See y’all in two weeks.

That hun ref knew murderwell would kick us, but was determined to be ‘lenient’. Disgraceful, footballers not being protected. This a week after the blond rat’s ghastly unpunished foul at aberdeen. What a league we play in.

Our discipline was very good today. I said before the game we couldn’t react to the provocation we were bound to see. Stokes questioned one decision – and was promptly booked. Apart from that we concentrated on our game.

Hooper looked offside.
No mention of how Lasley and Jennings managed to stay on the park first half. No mention of their combined assaults on our form player, James Forrest, which effectively put him out of the game.
Does the guy not know that everyone will see these things for themselves on the TV in the coming days.

I watched the game on ESPN. Hardly lovers of CEltic but none of the above were issues for them except the lack of cards for M’Well players.
Anyway, good result. Defending was better. Young Matthews is a good find. Can’t wait to have him on the right and Izzy back on the left.
I also can’t wait until we get Ledley back. We need the third grafter in there. We were too easily exposed on the flanks.

Brilliant from Celtic despite the officiating. Peter Lawell, as chairman of this club , you must end the full tape of this match and request a full investigation as to why a referee can be soooo bad – he must NEVER referee another SPL match – absolutely furious about the treatment on skillfull players today and will be more furious if we do nothing !

They seem to have been watching an entirely different game.
I didn’t think the Clancy kick merited a red card but Motherwell can have no complains
What an awful one sided display from the referee. He allowed open season on the Celtic players all day and reluctantly booked a couple when it should have been about six.
Outside Wullie Collum the worst refereeing performance of the season.
