    Between the Banks & the Georgian … that’s the venues for christenings, communions, confirmations, weddings & unfortunately funerals … two terrific Celtic establishments 🍀🍀

    Am not saying you’re wrong. Just saying that we will never know what the best option was. Was sacking TB a good shout when Wim came in and stopped the 10, or should we have stuck with TB and maybe he would’ve? All ifs and buts.

     

     

    What we do know is that what Fergus went for stopped the 10 and put us onto a path of total domination that they had to cheat to compete with. Since they got caught cheating, they’ve won 1 title out of 13. Not a bad return. I’m not sure what would have been better.

     

     

    I get your point about people pointing out the money men etc, when that was just a different version of this same thing we have today, but there will never be total harmony between a millionaire board and working class shareholders. That’s just real life.

     

     

    The game is moving further away from your average working class person to the middle classes. Including the rise of middle class players/athletes into the game, due to the wages on offer and the advantage they hold over the players from working class, lower socio-economic backgrounds.

     

     

    The divide is getting bigger and becoming more evident in sport in general.

    Just saw Ipswich celebrating promotion today by doing the usual…team on the pitch, behind a sponsors advert/banner, captain lifting the trophy.

     

    One question though. What trophy were they awarded with? Since when has there been a runners up cup?

    I’d have kept Tommy just because I loved Tommy .. give the Huns another title … they probably think they won it anyway as they don’t even understand liquidation … but Wim was a great season in our unbroken history ….     Much better performance

     

    After a long, often difficult, season we’re now in a position where winning our next league game all but crowns us as champions.

     

    Remarkable

     

    The worrying thing for the huns is how strong we look. Very pleasing position to be in

     

    Nothing has been won as yet. Squad needs to remain focused and determined. I’m sure we have the best manager to ensure this.

     

    I doubt I’ll even look out the sevco score today.

    Good morning all from a very quiet, calm, still, dry 9 degree Garngad.

     

     

    Great performance yesterday boosted by Diazan back on the park.

     

     

    Now just work on shape, formation and light work in training this week Brendan.

     

     

    Hopefully a fully fit squad to pick from and anihlate Der Hun.

     

     

    They have quite a few injury worries but will get jagged by the medicine doctor from Germany, oh he is away, but I bet his practices live on over there.

    GP 6.26am … the wee mhan fae Croy has publicly stated if he was in charge of Celtic in 2012 he would never have let Rangers / The Rangers leave the top division as it was …. “bad for business” might have been a Celtic fan fae Croy but money is still money :-)

    GFTB – I get the business side of having a Rangers but we should be calling out all the same club same trophy lies.

     

    Also making sure they follow the same financial regulations as every other club in the League.

     

    On that subject we do not need them in Paradise, they are the most vile support ever followed by their Edinburgh cousins.
