Celtic should be cute and pointi out to the SFA that Muir and McLean should not officiate any Celtic game this season due to the incompetence of obvious decisions . Celtic should add a caveat that they would be content to refer to Uefa’ for their view, if the SFA need assistance. Rest assured if this happened anywhere in Europe these clowns would be banished to lower league football.

I thought that was an entertaining enough game. Some good passages of interpassing from us which Well never came close to emulating. Yes, we were a bit unimaginative in the final third but we were head and shoulders above the opposition. Second half of the second half was not as good but I still think that ranks as an entertaining game, good play and controversy (Is that the right word?).
Top of the league but I hope one of our challengers recovers and keeps a bit of pressure on us. It would be great to be in a title race with Ross County.
Celtic should make some kind of cutting statement although challenging the SFA will only backfire. We won the game which puts us in a stronger position than the semi.

Let’s put aside the biase for a moment. It happens, in a country were Free-masonry is still rife, to suggest otherwise is plain daft. Scottish referees’ incompetence has been highlighted abroad too, so they are consistent in some fashion.
But what amazes me is the number of matches in which the officials, from different backgrounds, become THE story.
I was going to give examles, to back up my assertions, but there’s that many, a quick internet search will provide a litany of incredible, in-defensible decision making that affect many matches. Game changing stuff.
Of course It happens in all football countries, of that Ihave no doubt, but in Scotland we seem to have consistentcy only in the frequency of errors and the unaccountable individuals involved.
Standards and accountability. Two things that should be part and parcel of a role that commands a fee of £1300 (or thereabouts).
Last season Muir/McLean’s incredible decision must’ve cost the SFA and Celtic a million quid. But again the official’s error wasn’t addressed.
McLean is still in post and as we found today, so is Muir. The latter clearly hasn’t improved.
theglasgowcelticway on
Watch the media turn on us again if we question this poor official who’s only trying his best in a difficult job. Things won’t change so mocking the SFA is the best way forward in my humble opinion. However, after recent public relations disasters (smellygate) I’m not sure we have the ability.

Happy to report that some good bhoys from the Balornock CSC helped e out with a ticket. We were standing 10 yards behind the post for both penalty incidents, perhaps Muir was unsighted for the hand ball ? The linesman had a clear view. The Brown tackle he saw it , just did not want to give it He is a sad excuse for a referee and should be handed his jotters.
We were good today in first half, poor in second half however the denial of two penalty claims is a valid reason for us not being more comfortable.
Glad to hear Ciftci and Ronnie both mention the penalty refusals in interviews after game.
Onward and upward…..tapas to make, Mass to attend….top of the league as well.

A simple question for the SFA – what are you going to do about the incompetent referee?
Because if you do noting it will look like you see nothing wrong with his performance
I just wish that a few of our other players had the same attitude as our captain SB when it comes to injuries.

St stivs,
Was this for the month of September?
I don’t think cup games are included as it’s a league sponsors thing.
There wasn’t going to be any chance of Ronny winning it after losing to them. Also we dropped more league points than them in September.
I’m not sure how other managers faired mind you.

A bit disjointed in the second.
