  1. Under that Polar outfit, Jim McInally is wearing a full Celtic strip and his ’67 jammies.

Agree! Without a shadow of a doubt.

It is only sheer luck that 2 or 3 of our players haven’t suffered serious injury today. Those kind of ‘tackles’ were given the thumbs up by McInally before the game

Joe Ledley has been taken off with slight concussion already

McInally might be a SB holder but his comments and approach to the game were disgraceful and he should hang his head in shame for them

  6. Tontine Tim,

I have no problems with managers sending out their players to be competitive, however, No 4 should be off for 3 bookable offences, the guy who caught Ki should be booked, and the guy who elbowed Ledley should have been booked.

As I said, the last time we played a McInally team it was the same.

The robust approach is reminiscent of Motherwell.

  7. Brown’s been great and Ki’s won more tackles today than in all his games this season

Agree with your second point but I do think that the cynical approach applied by managers is accceptable . Understanding why they adopt the tactics of a thug does not excuse violent behaviour. Joe Ledley would still have a damaged cheek even if the perpetrator had been sent off. Violence cannot be condoned in the name of ” professionalism”.

  9. In terms of MOTM, I think Brown shades it

And btw, Provan has just mentioned Du Wei, honest, he did

    *blame the ref then

  12. Its hun inspired thuggery and feck all to do with football. Elbow someone in the street you’d be nicked

  13. Paddy hasn’t had the chance to shine in his usual manner but he’s had a big influence on this game. Some sensational passing from him

  14. Heaven knows what Crocker would have spoken about if Peterhead didn`t have some old ICT players playing for them

he`s also managed to get in a few references to Clyde …has he mentioned Ross County ?

i don`t remember hearing similar references to the Huns various cup embarrassments during their game

  15. DUSHANBE BHILLY BHOY on

Rab Douglas outstanding in goal. Feel sorry for Alan Rough sitting on the bench.

  16. How often has this commentator mentioned Celtic’s cup defeats against “minnow” teams? Has he got Tourettes Syndrome? There should also be a complaint made about the referee in this match–truly abysmal even by Scottish standards.

  17. Can anyone tell me,did we happen to lose

a cup tie against Clyde in last ten years?

    FFS,sick of hearing aboot it.

  18. Really disappointed in McInally’s tactics today.

Late barges, tackles from behind, elbows in face… Terrible stuff. I can understand a bit of “they don’t like it up them”, but if this is all you can manage, why bother turning up?

  19. South Of Tunis on

It is up to the Referee to apply /enforce the rules of the game. This one has failed to do that.

    The question is why ?

Ignorance of the Rules of The Game.?

    I
