    I think Emilio tends to be more measured when he crosses with his right.

     

    He over hits a lot on his left perhaps because of his speed in the overlap

    HT Ross County 0-1 Celtic

     

     

    Unfortunately lost audio/video for most of the half. Good goal from Virgil with a well placed header. Celtic seem to be in control of proceedings – stepped up a gear after the goal. Pukki putting in a shift and looking good.One more quick goal to finish the game and let’s get Baldi on with some time to show what h can do with Pukki up front.

    Good first half. Liking Pukki and Biton. Joe and Jamesie to contribute in the second half for a comfortable three points.

    Why play strikers who aren’t striking, and the goals have been spread though out the team,

    We are doing what we can here against a team that are not afraid to throw any type of challenge in to stop us.

     

    Plus marks all round so far though wondering what has happened to JL as he is not in the game enough.

     

    Hard on such a narrow park which requires patience or the ball will be given away to cheaply.

     

    Would like to see Pukki get one today as his first touch looks good and he has done a good job so far.

    To be fair to Izzy a lot of his left peg crosses are when no striker is in the box, for some reason our forwards never appear to bust a gut to get to that near post.

     

     

    When Izzy crosses with his right it’s because he’s cut back in and the forwards have finally got into the box.

    VVD is a magnificent player.With Ambrose beside him they make an outstanding partnership. 2 ball-playing centre halves—whodda thunk it? Still need that midfielder to pull it all together and open up teams like this.See that NL wants a proven striker. A good midfielder would set up the chances for the players he has,and I still think Pukki will score 12/15 goals this season.

    Not such a good game – an awful lot of possession for one goal. I’d have thought an ideal day for Amido B. as we are getting loads of crosses in. But glad we are winning

    An unusually sprightly and attacking performance from this Levein-line up without a Centre Forward.

     

     

    Lots of movement from Pukki, Izzy, Brown and Forrest. Ross County seemed content to let Izzy and Darnell see lots of the ball and whip in crosses to his big Centre Halfs. Reasoonable tactics but he did not count on McLean & Boyd being dominated and bullied by Virgil and Nir Biton.

     

     

    I am liking the signs I am seeing today from Nir Biton. He has attempted a few Rogic-like slip passes and as soon as James and Teemu start to read them, we will get more goals.

     

     

    Need to start the 2nd half just as strong as Adams will help them regroup and they will come out kicking.

    Yet again big Van the Mhan playing like a Supertsar but there is also a fair bit of movement going forward which was missing midweek and before.

     

     

    Biton I think will prove to be a real asset once he finds his feet.

     

     

    Pukki Looks like a footballer— but wonder just where to put him in an eleven.

    With Ross County having all their players behind the ball, it can become frustrating trying to get a breakthrough.

     

    The short corner was a masterstroke.

     

    Well done to whoever the hell coaches that.
