SCOTTISH CUP SEMI-FINAL UPDATE: IBROX RESULT, ONE TIE TO GO

CELTIC will discover their Scottish Cup semi-final opponents tomorrow night.

Ange Postecoglou’s men took a step closer to the treble with a 3-0 victory over Hearts at Tynecastle yesterday with strikes from Aaron Mooy, Kyogo Furhuhashi and Cameron Carter-Vickers.

They will be joined in the last-four ballot by Michael Beale’s Ibrox side following their 3-0 win over Championship Raith Rovers in Govan this afternoon. Connor Goldson, Ryan Nolan (own goal) and Scott Arfield were the scorers.

Second-tier Inverness Caley Thistle already booked their place following their 2-1 success over Premiership Kilmarnock in the Highlands on Friday night.

The last quarter-final tie will be tomorrow night when Falkirk face Ayr United.

The match between the Championship teams will kick off at 7.45pm and will be played to a conclusion with extra-time and penalty-kicks if required.

The semi-final ballot will be screened live on BBC Scotland at the end of the match while it will also be available to live stream online via the BBC iPlayer.

The ties will be played at the end of next month. One will take place on Saturday, April 29 with the second match the following day.

Both games will be held at Hampden.
