Social cost of Scots exclusion

1522

You want to know the real social cost of Scottish football’s exclusion from the league structure England and Wales share?  It’s the lack of pitches, nets, strips, balls and coaching certifications that the £1bn bounty, promised by the Barclay’s Premier League last night to the grassroots game.

£1bn to the grassroots is a huge sum.  It dwarfs what taxpayers can afford and will provide a series of benefits our kids and amateur players are denied.

If we’re part of the UK, we should be part of the UK’s commercial opportunities.  Every youth team in the land are excluded because of the actions of a cartel.

What are the SFA doing about it?  Nothing.  Their plans don’t seem to require world-class youth facilities.

  1. Petec: you are right. The best things are free. It’s a message I try to teach the young people I meet in the class room. See you soon.

Masons are not the same all over the land. In many places they are closer to the rotary than the Illuminati.

I know you were a techno enthusiast back in the day, can you recommend any mixes from 2000 onwards, or were you retired like me, by then? :)

If there was no conspiracy, how did all those referees and assistants know to initiate The Honest Mistakes season, virtually to a man?

  5. turkeybhoy,

Really, you were lucky…I’ll give you one example from my past.

B&S…anniesland. I’m chargehand of the toolroom, applied for the job as the planner for said department.

Interviewed by a manager whom was known to be the grandmaster of the knightwood lodge at said time.

He told me at the end of the interview, that he thought I was too young for the job, after trying to trip me up during said interview.

Now…the punchline…a member of said lodge got the promotion, one year older, no experiance in toolmaking…I rest my case.

I don’t know what occupation you were in, but by feck mines was and to an extent still is riddled with it. HH

Stivs, really sorry to hear that mate, hope things get better for you.hh

  7. Turkeybhoy….I dont think King Ever had any intention of having a Nomad…from what i understand, with no Nomad the institutional Investors will bail as there will be no market to sell their shares, therefore King and co can buy them up on the cheap….they end up with most of the shares but with no hope of outside finance due to being de-listed….they will get the mugs in a share issue to stick up around £5 mill..and hope McCall can dig up players to do what he did at Motherwell…..just my thoughts…..

Heard this week about a disappointing attitude from a Celtic official towards a party of two Knightswood primary schoolchildren at last week-end’s game.

Given a time of 2.15 everyone was ready, he turned up with passes at the designated turn-style at 5to3. The kids missed the pre-game fun inside LL Stand, Celts running onto pitch and the huddle.

Did you enjoy your hospitality lunch, Mr Blazer?

That’s a disgrace, Celtic need to learn to give people their free stuff a lot quicker than that

  9. BOBBY MURDOCH’S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS,

Just go and rub up against CRC, the rub of the Green and all that.

I really hope the Bookies get smashed by CQNers this weekend, unlikely I know, but fingers crossed.

  10. Petec – let me have a think. Most of the big names from before then are still on the go search boilerroom.tv I was listening to a decent Dave Clarke from there the other day

By having exceptional teams. You are persistent I will give you that.

  12. Hun Skelper

Yes, I fully agree with you. Just reading what Russian and Montenegro media say about it.

All troubles started before the game when Russian and Serbian hooligans met in the centre of Podgorica. A lot of political issues, hooliganism, nationalism.

  13. Petec…So the Mighty Masonic Cabal have No answer to Exeptional Football Teams….cant be That powerfull …..

  14. weeminger 22:38,

Not in a rush m8ty, just for future listening anyway.

Dave Clarke mixes were excellent, just the right tempo for listening at home. I always liked Dave Angel at raves and even the Metro in Saltcoats. The night he played there, there were only 2 people jumping around like maddies, Guilty as charged. ;)

Jock Stein’s last season, though wrecked by injuries, was as bad as Tony Mowbray’s time in charge.

I’m coming out of a bad few years ,my family faith and friends on cqn(they don’t know how much they helped) have helped me

I am eternally grateful to those men and women, people can slag Cqn for being a chat room but when you need support the Cqn community and the Celtic family will be there for you.

As they where for me without their knowing it

  17. BGX,

Those exceptional teams overcame all the obstacles that were put in front of them, that is why Celtic only has so little in terms of Dominating Scotland football wise and Rangers (the DEAD Club) had so much.

I did say they were still prevalent in some areas. You will never eradicate them totally, but in this day and age the shameful treatment you received will get rarer.Companies,do not want unqualified dumplings in their workforce.

The thing is,most other Masonic followers throughout the world would have nothing to do with this sectarian mob we have in Scotland.
