    V long time CQN fan my postings are more seldom than financial good behaviour at Sevco!

     

    Just feeling watching the game today at MacDiarmid Park how virtually every game we have played this season has been a carbon copy hence highlighting our obvious flaws..we gain the ascendany create a few chances maybe score and then are unable to kill teams off and invite pressure on ourselves for the second half..this is well covered ground on CQN lack of creativity and guile in midfield and a recognised goal scorer up top..however I also feel the tempo at which we play has to be questioned we frequently drop off on the second half and seem to lose the ability to break at pace and commit teams and capitalise on the momentum..

     

    On the subject of supposedly want away Big George and Joe..Joe in fairness to him has always harboured designs to go back down south and test himself in the English premiership and you can’t blame him for that..he has been a decent player for Celtic weighing in with some important goals and steadying influence in midfield..however I’ve always wanted that wee bit more from him..I think he has always lacked that wee bit of flair or ability to get beyond the strikers and be more dynamic which I would expect from a CM of his calibre..

     

    Big George is the classic enigma dividing the support and vacillating between the sublime and the ridiculous although he has become a bit of a talisman for the hoops in the last 2 seasons..whatever happens wish the best to both of them have been good servants of the Celtic cause!
