    Daft game …daft performances

    Boeriggter and Balde …hopeless

    Kayal …lost it

    Pukki ..decent touch …no heart

Matthews ..a lot to learn in MF

    A very lax unprofessional performance

With a few putting very little effort in

  2. bournesouprecipe on

Poor overall, league won before the split but Celtic have leaked bad goals tonight and at Motherwell.

Takes the gloss off the Aberdeen win, and as so many posters predicted too many changes at the one time.

Some of the established first team players don’t escape criticism either.

Given the first half performance, can’t really argue with the result.

    Lubo.

Didn’t see the game (relying on excellent CQN updates) but I don’t think you can blame the first half performance for losing a 2 goal lead in the second half.

    Still, onwards and upwards.

    Right,who signed Derk?

Mackay-Steven on our doorstep and we spent ? On him.!

  5. fieldofdrams on

Thought Pukki had a good game. His footwork is good. He looks like he lacks confidence, in that respect he reminds me of Brattbakk.

  6. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

    Well, that was fun.

Six goals and missed the lot!!

    Sausages kept bursting their skins.

No point really in analysing what appeared to be an exercise in fulfilling the fixture list.

As it was, it provided entertainment for those who attended and further ridiculed the Armageddon prophesy.

Roll on Sunday and next season.

  7. Would have settled for draw at ht.

No spine 1st half, so a spineless performance.

Gutted to lose 2 goals in a minute.

    Well done the subs.

That is not my decision but his control was awful tonight.

Another year ? Who would buy him for what we have ahem ahem reputedly paid ?

  9. Still think Boerrigter, Pukki, Balde and Kayal should be off in the summer. Providing anyone wants them.

Boerrigter, Pukki and Balde is a monumental waste of £5-6m. We could have bought better in Scotland last summer for half that amount on players who would at least contributed something.

Of the three Pukki is the only one we should even contemplate keeping and hope he can find some confidence and get up to speed with how the game is played in this country.

  10. Thrown away again but fair result for an end of season game. Second row players did not step up to mark again. Time for a clear out this year and let our youth players step up, so far they have shown up well.

  11. macjay1 for Neil Lennon on

Not such bad defending for last the goals.

Second goal, one perhaps two deflections.Dead jammy.

    Third one.Excellent cross,brave header.

Well done Zaluska for the penalty save.Could easily have been a loss, but for that.

All in all,an exercise in “try out” and much,I feel, learned.

At 3-1 I’m sure the CFC fans had had enough entertainment :-))

  13. theglasgowcelticway on

1-3 up and coasting.10 minutes later it’s 3-3.Straight out of the Liverpool book of defending.

Am I the only one who thinks Hearts wont be too bothered about their score tonight??

  14. fanadpatriot on

End of the season games are like pre-season games, nothing to get exited about.

  15. I am always willing to accept that the professionals running Celtic know a lot more about it than I do ( such magnanimity!) but for the life of me, I cannot see how Boerigter is a better buy than Gary MacKay-Stevens would have been.

    JJ

  16. DB, AB and BK look like their time is up.

AS, LG and possibly AW as the main strikers next season with Johnstone maybe stepping up.

Neil has said a striker is a priority

A MF with Brown, Biton, Johansen, Commons, Mulgrew and possibly Snodgrass will be irresistible in the SPFL

  17. …..and let my good night parting be this: Anyone who still can`t see how important Scott Brown is to Celtic probably should not be offering opinions on football.

    `night all,

St Johnstone played as if it was their cup final – fair play to them.

    Back to us, my thoughts:

Zaluska – stick (back up to FF)

    Lustig – stick

    Ambrose – stick

    Van Dijk – stick

    Matthews – stick

Kayal – twist (a bull dog chasing a balloon comes to mind…à

    Mulgrew – stick

    Johansen – stick

Boerrigter – twist (a mystery to me;;)

Balde – twist (some other clb wil benefit from his tme at Celtic Park…)

Pukki – twist (like his effort, but time to cut our losses…)

    Subs

    Brown – stick

    Commons – stick

    Stokes – stick

Stevie May – worth a punt (despite penalty miss).

A sphincter-wrecking 90 minutes in prospect for Butcher this weekend.

I thought Johnstone was signing for Dun Utd..

I think we’ll sign a striker and I think it will be Garry Hoops!!

Doubt we’ll see Tony Watt back..

    Just my feeling!
