Croatian hero of the 1990s, Davor Suker, currently Croatian Football Federation president, is campaigning for a place on the Uefa Executive Committee, one of 12 people chasing 7 places.
Sukor has been campaigning across south-eastern Europe, with a simple message: collapse the cream from the national leagues of 13 countries into one powerful 42-team regional league structure. He has support across the region, including Turkey and the former Yugoslav countries.
Smaller countries across Europe have realised that they must regionalise or accept a future of irrelevance. The Gazprom-funded deal between the Ukrainian and Russian regional league floundered at the onset or war but regionalisation is not going away. We need innovative campaigners like Suker to rise to positions of authority, replace the ranks of the incompetent and talentless.
Well done to newco for rewarding those who used their media outlets to campaign relentlessly on their behalf in recent years with a seat in the directors’ box on Tuesday. I’m sure David Leggat deserved the accolade of being the only mainstream media journo so honoured, which is quite something. New season lamb is in stock early this year.

If yiv kids you want there asap that’s the reason i mentioned Dalaman.
The resorts are pretty new, as Dalaman old town was a shyte-hole. -))
Unexpected, but delighted shock over VVD.
Burgas Hoops,
with the amount I drink on holiday,
I always have a certain glow about me anyway
Radio Scotland interviewing “Christian” who worked in Catholic schools, which is where she found the most difficulty in expressing her faith. Hmmmm…………….
Burgas Hoops,
Would like to stay away from new resorts.
Why is Ciftci`s case taking so long? The kick is very obvious. As regards intention, who ever knows that other than the perpetrator?

Do you remember when a Romanian outfit tore them apart? Not a single member of the LL dared ask Smith a question. Shared grief or shared cowardice?
Oh, and the interviewer really put his foot in his mouth by suggesting that other schools were more liberal.

Ibrox press conference.
I’ll bet you the story is about the questions NOT asked.
Real ignominy tonight for BHS. The once famous high street name has been sold by Mr Green (no not that one). The price? £1. Or a deadco as we used to know it.
stpatricksbhoy.
Have a look at Datca then, lovely beach blah blah blah, only downside is the journey from Dalaman to resort 2-3 hrs.

The BBC Online:
“An altercation in the aftermath of a Scott Brown challenge on Nadir Ciftci resulted in Van Dijk and United’s Paul Paton both being sent off.”
This Scott Brown challenge is taking on some astonishing importance. Has he been suspended sine die or was it considered a fair challenge?
JJ
Will go down in history along with Nakas free kick, and Roy Aitkens throw in.
The Mullet’s press conference should only last about one minute-quick photo-as the stories are already written.

TV Cameras catch Ciftci kicking Brown – not proven. No TV cameras/mics catch Tonev-Logan incident – 7 game ban for Tonev
Another shameful whitewash at Hamdump. So what happens to our stout, sterling and omni-competent “fishuls” after making so many good decisions??
JJHS,
Not proved, eh. This is Scotland. You couldn’t make it up.
So Virgil was let off to prevent further embarrassment for them, shambles of an organisation.
I’m going on Sunday, first time I’ve taken a ticket for hamdump in years I hate the place.
Shit stadium and a waste of money.
But I’m hoping for a victory to celebrate, already cancelled a few Monday morning meetings just in case :-)
