When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose

914

So why go to court when you know you have signed up to a rule (literally) that forbids you from going to court and that will almost certainly lead to your expulsion from football?

Because almost certainly being expelled from football is a better option than the alternative.

As Bob said: “When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose”.

They have nothing. Nothing.

We are heading the way of Greece, not that many here pay tax.

People who are in employment do, obviously, but anyone who is self employed, a business and the like pay virtually nothing, sort of a perk for being inventive and starting your own business.

    Very interesting times ahead,

With a bit of divine intervention, the huns will be a thing of the past :>)

Thanks for the very kind comments about my Lisbon recollections.

I don’t recall the Dukla Prague second leg being on the television.

Jobo Baldie… the very one, Jimmy is lurking from Turkey at the moment.

To change the subject and back to our friends at Hampden.

I have been curious for some time to find out if The Rangers actually paid any compensation to the SFA when Uncle Walter walked away in January 2009.

A few newspaper articles at the time reported ” a compensation figure of £400000 is believed to have been agreed.”

Not being a tweeter or twitterer or whatever myself, I asked a friend to send a tweet to Mr Regan to ask if he could finally satisfy my curiosity on the matter.

He took 4 days to reply thus….

I’m hearing rumours, mostly from people who make up rumours, that Hugh Dallas received incentives in the form of EBT payments via MIH EBT scheme. Now surely if Mr David Murray required Windows he’d pay by cheque, Electonic Transfer, debit or credit card. Maybe even cash. But paying for windows via an EBT?

    How’s about that then?

    Have they ?

I watched the snp today, they were full of themselfs, smug as a hun.

Salmond is a shrewd, caniving, cheating, lying turd of a man, he would blow away most politicians in scotland, he knows that the Celtic vote is just that, the Celtic vote, he obviously feels that it doesn’t matter, he is a gambler, and I predicted he knows what he can get away with, hence his stance re the huns etc.

The average Catholic voter imo is not a Celtic voter, I think he has gambled on that.

Just my opinion mind you, I hope I am wrong.

way overdue, especially since the competition is not on the same level as way back then. Champions really were champions i.e. the finest football team of that season. Now it’s “money, money, money!” and what for? Boring, boring, boring! Even Inter with their defensive attitude provided a technical quality that you would be hard put to find in most of the preservation stuff of today. I am not biased but give me “the Glasgow Celtic way” anytime.

You keep listning to the ones who are making up these stories.

You never know, some of them might even tell you that certain officials have received holidays, had operations for family members paid for outwith the health service, they might just heve had a free turkey at Christmas time, but keep your ears to the ground, much more will come out.

    Welcome BTW.

    Good evening,

With regard to them taking the SFA transfer embargo to court, if they won and it got overturned, lets say Scott Brown received a red card (and misses say the Scottish Cup Final) and TV replays showed it was not a red card but the SFA appeals panel upheld the red card, what would stop from going to court to appeal said red card?.. They just don’t realise what they are doing and have done to Scottish Football. Finish them

A couple of seasons ago. Night game against the diet Huns, Im standing at front door at CP. A Damler pulls up, security guards ushering fans away. Who could it be? we thought. The back door is opened and out comes Salmond. A shout goes up ” ach it’s only that fat wank Salmond”. He proceeds to try a walkabout but was ignored by EVERY Celtic fan to a man. I was embarrassed for him until I remembered he is just a fat wank.

The events of the past few years prove that the Revolutionary Communist Party of Celtic Supporters is the one true cause. Don’t let that fat Hun wank tell you otherwise.

That is, at this time especially, a very good query.

I still hoped Regan would deal with this mess that Rangers have solely created through their cheating.

The silence is deafening, it is corruption on a grand scale.

Without fear or favour Mr Regan? Ogilvie is in there protecting the whole lot of the scumbags because he knows the most and is the best man “for the job” of protecting the brothers. There is so much at stake for so many people and reading Regan’s twitter response suggests to me he does not have the stomach for it, not in the slightest.

I suggested we fit in 30 minutes extra Study of Contemporary American Politics before hitting the sack at 3am. You convinced me to don a bandana, remove my top and attack the enemy. -8 outside you and me topless charging Conservative Party Offices armed with 2 half bricks each. From a distance of 3 feet we launched our missiles at said enemy’s engraved window. Four missiles launched. Zero hits. Furstenberg 50p a bottle. :-)

I remember about 10/15 years ago there was a guy called McCormack (originally from Carnbroe in the Brig) being interviewed on STV. His family had emigrated to Canada when he was in his teens. He had been a pupil in St. Mary’s in Whifflet and now he had written a novel which had won a prize and sold a lot of copies. (Damned if I can remember his first name or the title of his novel). Anyhow, the interviewer talked about him being Scottish and asked him about his family’s reasons for leaving Scotland and about life in Canada. He replied to the effect that the McCormack family were an Irish family who lived in Scotland for 150 years having moved from their native land. The next adventure in this Irish family’s history was to then move from Scotland to Canada.
