I’m with you, I love all the nonsense that goes with it. It adds emotion and I’m an emotional kinda guy! Like TOSB, it’s not the first time I’ve had tears on my face watching the ‘Tic and it won’t be the last!

It was a great service last Sunday, so thanks for your kind words. Hope the “wee blade” enjoyed her day as well!

  2. We played exceptional football today. Our passing, touch and movement was up there with anything I’ve seen by a Celtic team. Arguably it was against Killie but take nothing away from a fantastic team performance. And that was achieved by playing one striker. Just imagine the carnage if we had played with 2 up front. Hh

Btw The 11 players on the park at end of the game were all there last season.

And they all won the league (well maybe not Simo :O)

She sure did, earlier she put our pound coins out for the two plates the morra (her own money) and she loves putting 50p to light a candle, she has also mentioned “dad does anybody on CQN need a candle this week” all her own money, when I was 8 I used to shake the plate and put the 10p in my pocket, swiftly followed with a slap at the back of my head…….. Her kindness must be her mothers trait

  5. I’m far the Drum, so moist weeks it was a “dipper”!

You can tell her that there are a good number of CQN’rs who are ill and need prayers. An’ auld goats like me who could always dae wi’ a plenary indulgence or two!

Tell her I’ll light one for her tomorrow for her journey to the Eucharist!

Agree with you totally about Scott and Kieran. Celtic greats. As for Emilio? Love the ghuy. My wife knows him, taught his Wee Bhoy and Emilio sent me home a Celtic jersey. I never criticise Emilio and I’m really glad he is still a Celt. He bleeds green and white.

Her mother has already nicknamed her “mother Teresa” she collects Rosary Beads like other kids collect Pokemon cards, she forces me to go to chapel :-)

On that note I am hitting me kip, fellow Celtic fans good night and God Bless

Thunder Road are you available for selection next Saturday be good to have a beer and talk a lot of shoite about the hoops :-)

  8. The Huddle. True. But they never played football like we did today. Then again I know you were a huge RD fan. Hh

  9. TOSB

I loved wee KT saying that Emilio is his hero, and Emilio speaks to him about his performance

By the way if Brendan really wanted to defend at the Etitihaad or away in Gladbach, he could do worse than doubling up KT & Emilio and Lustig & Gamboa…….

Just get 3rd place and we’re all off to Stockholm in the green…………….

Definitely bedtime, when the blog is about Celtic it can’t be beaten

Going out in Falkirk on Saturday night for a few beers to celebrate a mates 50th so it wouldnt be wise to kick it off at noon with you lot!

Never been the cleverest though so i can see me going for it!

I hope you’ve not gone go your kip yet. Reading your posts for a long time and I would just like to say how much I enjoy them. What I really like is your very strong sense of family. You’re obviously proud of your missus and your Wee yin. Great to read that. If your Wee yin drags you to the chapel make sure you keep going.mshe sounds like a wonderful daughter. You are twice blessed.

    Hail! Hail!

  12. It’s a funny world where on the day the champions of Scotland win 6-1 we are 10/1 to win at home against the team that finished fourth in their league last season. And their best player was injured today while our 40 goal striker made his comeback

I know it’s pep and all that but really, there seems to be some mass hysteria doing the rounds in football at the moment

  13. One of my favourite European nights.

Listen to the French commentary. I counted 6 separate “Ooh La La’s”. He seemed very impressed with Ald, MacBreed, Muirdock and Hyoog.

My memory of that night is that we were utterly dominant and well worth 4:0. The highlights show that we had Ronnie Simpson to thank on more than one occasion.

Their best player is Aguero and has always been Aguero

If we don’t get humped I’ll be very surprised

But such is modern football I love Celtic no matter how shite the rest of the football world has gotten :O)

  15. Thunder Road

Am only allowed out to 5pm so I can make sure you get to Falkirk (via Coatbridge) :-)

    TOSB

I just post a lot of nonsense on here, my best times following Celtic have never been when Celtic have been winning, Brendan Rodgers seems to be something we haven’t had in a long time, for some who will play to the new club tune, there wasn’t season ticket queues when they were promoted, the Celtic fans responded to Brendan !

hope I don’t bore others with my constant rubbish about my family (we all have them) but if it wasn’t for the wee blade I would be at the fitba then in the boozer talking about Celtic so there would no need for CQN, this place gives me the virtual boozer, same as my good Celtic friend MacJay :-)

In my short time on here I have met very many good people….. So much for hitting me kip

  16. I fancy BR will go 4 5 1 against Man city. Gordon will be in goal. We will go 4 at the back after the ill fated 5 in the Campnou. Toure and Jozo will start along with Lustig and KT in defence. The 5 in midfield will be the same that started today with Dembele up front. Then again BR might have a cunning plan.

  17. What a great Celtic day today was. From seeing the generosity of my fellow Tims throwing in their hard earned cash into our buckets. Also the Killie gentlemen who generously donated after Almore and my explanation of what Kano’s lasting legacy is all about. Graham Speirs spoke with us for a while, was highly impressed by what we told him about The Kano Foundation work. He was asking many questions and making mental notes. A really nice bloke who loves his fitba was my impression of him. Then the match.

    Magic, fast entertaining fitba.

ACGR and I christened oor captain Brooniesta today.

Andy is my favourite player in the world for a decade.

  18. GERRYFAETHEBRIG

I will be there on Saturday mate , looking forward to it .

BV or McChuills for the game ?

  19. Magnificentseven on

I just had a wee look on twitter and came across Stilian Petrov’s timeline, heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time, a legend in every way

  20. G64

I hope we go at them and don’t lose a first minute goal ala Barca. Looking forward to a great game of fitba on Wednesday.

Any spares for Etihad. Going down for the craic.

I meant too say, I was speaking to our mutual acquaintance a few months back “Teabags” the last time we had mentioned him he had read it, serial lurker, he has been lurking here for years well before I could even spell c q n

    DD

Glad you had a good day, always liked Graham Speirs, I prefer the ones who don’t try to hide what they are, are you hitting the BV or staying in Dalmuir on Saturday for the Dundee game

  22. FGF

Good stuff, I think BMCUWP & CoseyCorner Bhoy are BV for the game then McChuills later on (reading between the lines) looking forward to it
