Ok bhoys , see you there.

  3. Gordon64, I agree, 451.

FGF, I’m going to BV, meeting up with BMCUWP’s, some others will be there I’m sure, is Bhundoran Bhoy making an appearance? Or is he running away:-)

ThunderRoad, I’ll see you in the pub, 5 hours of drinking then a night out sounds like a plan!

  4. Paul67. Just back in from the count . I think it’s a good sign that it took us over 5 hrs to count the money ! Initial figures show that this was our best bucket collection yet despite the weather . Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped. I know I’ll miss someone so apologies in advance , but thanks to you paul for championing and promoting us and the other causes that have spawned from cqn. Almore , dena, delaney dunky, lennybhoy sftb and leftclicktic, thank you for sticking it out . It was a grotty day but everyone took part in a wonderful spirit. Four greenfield, was great to meet you today. Maybe next week again ?! Finally to Cowiebhoy. You know what for. Thank you so much. We couldn’t have done it without you. Hail Hail and I’m away for a beer or maybe a cheeky wee Hoxton and tonic.

  5. If I weren’t away, I’d be in around the ground trying my luck for a ticket for Wed night.

And I’d be disappointed if Kevin De Bruyne wasn’t playing alongside Agüero, Silva, Nolito as he’s one of the world’s top players and who wouldn’t want to see them play in the flesh at Paradise when the opportunity presents itself.

Said it last week, Citeh’s first half performance at Manure was the best football I’ve seen played in the EPL. Toyed with them, without Agüero.

Pep didn’t come to piss about. . and he won’t next week so we’ll have to be raising our game, especially in a certain area of the team.

  6. GFTB

Will watch the match in Republican Dalmuir, then walk 50 yards to the train. Will see you within an hour of full time. BV will have the tv turned down and playing tunes instead.

  7. DOC

Think he is coming along for a while .

    Sannabhoy

Hopefully you make it next week mate , I have something for you .

  8. Dallas, Dallas

You missed out Sofia. In 1967 CSKA Sofia were knocked out of the EC semi final by Inter and Slavia Sofia played in the semi final of the ECWC which Rangers 1972 lost in the final.

  9. Sannabhoy

    Glad the collection went well.

I thought for my first half hour, the donations were slow but the late arrivals were very generous.

The amount raised by the climbing couple that were on the pitch at half time was sensational.

My glass is raised in memory of the good work you are doing in memory of Martin Kane

  10. Without a settled GK and back 2 I think we could struggle against Man City. In the CL we need a quality defensive midfield player capable of breaking up the play and protecting our back 4 ala VW and Paul Lambert. However we are definitely capable of hurting them going forward. We are massive underdogs but it’s CP on CL night so you never know. We’ve beaten better teams.

  11. DD

I hear you, am just glad to get out for a few hours and talk shoite about Celtic than type it on an iPad……. BV for kick off you can watch any other away game in Republican Dalmuir :-)

  12. Jungle VIP @ 9:50…

Charlie Nicholas scored in 9 consecutive games (League AND League Cup) in season 1980/1981 between 31 August and 8 October.

Stirling Albion (H) League Cup 6-1 (AET)

    Partick Thistle (H) League 4-1

    Hearts (A) League 2-0

    Airdrie (H) League 1-1 (penalty)

    Hamilton (A) League Cup 3-1

    Hamilton (H) League Cup 4-1

    Aberdeen (A) League 2-2 (penalty)

    Dundee United League (H) 2-0

Partick Thistle (A) League Cup 1-0 (penalty)

I think this was his best consecutive run.

  13. Gordon64

They do give the opposition chances, though not much of the ball. They take risks playing out from the back, but any team that presses them high is taking a risk too in the face of their ability to play through you, at speed, as spaces appear. Just great that Paradise is hosting football at the top level.

  14. GERRYFAETHEBRIG

If you see Teabags again, please tell him he can contact me on Facebook. Quite a few of the Baillieston boys who went to St. Bridget’s and St. Francis of Assisi are in touch with me. I’d love to hear how he’s getting on.

  15. Anyone doubting the value of a quality defensive midfield player have a look at what Barca have valued the fantastic Busquets. It will take another club152

million euros to buy out out his contract. This is for a 28 year old player who has scored only 6 goals in 8 years playing for Barca. About the same as Lenny scored for us. That’s how important Busquests is too them. A phenomenal player who knows his job.

  16. TOSB

He works beside a few of my pals, I worked beside him for best part of 20years, will drop one of them a text too let him know, but he will probably read this the morra, yet again he is definitely one of the good guys….. Am sure he is on that Facebook thing :-)

  17. Sannabhoy

Was a pleasure, even though we all got soaked to the skin. Great Celtic Initiatives must be supported. Magical day on and off the pitch.

  19. WITS

I had a great day wi Almore and my mate up from London. He is CID in the Met. He was going to mock arrest you wi his badge if we met. Revenge would have been golden. ;)

  20. “If I could be any player I would be Sergio Busquets”. Vicente del Bosque

” He is a gift for any coach”. Cruyff on Busquets.

    You’re in good company, G64.

  21. What is the Stars on

    Delaneys

That would have been good crack

But …you’ll never take me alive

    Seriously…hadnt been over in 18 months,too long,,,great day

  22. At Dortmund Paul Lambert developed into a quality defensive midfield player. The guy who had played with StMirrren and Motherwell went onto win a European cup final medal playing a pivotal role in a fantastic Dortmund team. The last Scottish player to do so. His signing for Celtic was a masterstroke.

  23. Whit does old Luis of the forest know anyway?

World cup/ champions league/ euro winner. . .show aff!

    Thought you’d choose Jinky, HUD.

  24. WITS

So glad that oor bonny bhoys and ghirls who make the effort to travel from oor emerald isle to see oor bhoys, got a great Celtic show today. Magic
