I hope did nothing won nothing John Lloyd in tennis enjoyed the great Davies Cup performance after his scathing about Andy Murray. So man up Lloyd and apologise to Andy!!!

  2. Watched the game on the telly ,to tell you the truth im still not impressed with some of the players we have,Bitton ,Rogic ,Armstrong, all to slow,in midfield,im dissapointed in armstrong, dont think he will make it with us,the other 2 are to slow. as for Stokes, well he is just one ignorant guy.taking libertys on social media ,with having a pop at ronny for not picking him ,the manager is under enough pressure from a lot of our fans, and especially the hun media, and up pops stokes and feeds them more to say about ronny, well in my opinion celtic should chase him out the door in January,

    Re. Scott Allan

I was reading about the desperate need (financial) of the hun to gain promotion this season and the constant refrain on C.Q.N. that the Board “want them back.”

There`s a possibility that the signing of Scott Allan and the “assistance ” to Hibs could have been a subtle way of postponing their promotion.

    Hope so.

We have talked about this many’s a time, and I am surprised at your response.

Pedro could well forego a small % of his bonus to pay the LW, the other suits could easliy not claim expenses to pay the LW.

It’s a 100K a year, small beer in the grand scheme of things, we are a multi million company, and we are only talking about a very small % here.

I have said time and time again, if the suits bonuses are aligned to performance on the pitch, fine, but no, they are in line with robbing those who really need a few bob, and I am really surprised at your defence of that.

But lets no fall out over it :-)

I know you’re not daft so why are you pretending not to understand that if we, the fans, give an extra £3 per season ticket to pay living wage then this increase in revenue then means our CEO’s bonus rises as a result. It’s not feckin rocket science. The more revenue we generate the more his bonus increases.

You ok with that? we pay extra to ensure that the poorest receive the living wage and at the same time our CEO’s bonus rises because of increase in revenue

Missed it. Was it the one about not selling players that wanted away or was that someone else?

No we’ve binned Inverness. Not a good curry shop to be found although the girlies are very friendly in night clubs. Allegedly.

I’m at a loss as to why that guy posts on here. Never read anything positive or constructive from him. I usually scroll past. Wish I had again!

Hope all well in the Cortes of Baza :-)

  9. TET

I well understand that but if that was the basis of negotiation then it’s no surprise the answer was no.

You run a business. The union come in and ask for a pay rise.

You say where will the money come from?

They say you take less pay.

    What do you say?

Great idea how much do you want or feck off?

All I’ve seen and I’m waiting to be told I’m wrong is that the money should come from somebody else’s pay packet.

In the above scenario you could say to the union let’s share the cost. We all take a little bit less to let the lower paid get paid a bit more.

    What would they say?

Great idea boss or Feck that raise prices.

I’ve no problem at all with paying the LW. It’s the charitable thing to do. I’d pay a bit more to make it happen is my approach, otherwise is not charitable.

Aye it’s good, even have my Beemer on Spanish plates from next week, taken me a few years, but wtf.

Jan has been lifting stray dugs off the street and re-homing them, two in the last few weeks, she really couldn’t let it go, fair play to her.

As for yer man, it’s getting a pain now, every post is the same, seriously fecked up, but he has a pass to the board room, so he is in his element, I’m sure his Lordship is delighted.

    Love to the family.

  11. Auldheid

    No, no, no

We are talking bonus and expenses here, not taking wages away.

I understand 100% what you are saying, and 100% disagree with it.

I have scoured the books and found feck all to do with expenses, why ?

We are talking about 100K, say 20% of Pedros bonus.

Again, how can you defend that ?

    HH

  12. TIMHORTON

Keyboard hardmen, you are havin a laff.

    Have a nice day

  13. TET

The money has to come from somewhere.

Expenses are supposed to reimburse costs incurred in the running of the business.

If they are excessive by all means reduce them and use it elsewhere but after that pot has been used in year one where does the money come from in year 2 to pay the rise?

It’s practical stuff like that which needs to be considered to arrive at total cost over say a five year budget cycle to establish the cost.

I’m not suggesting the money could not be found in the budget, there is usually a bit of slack but a proper costing would look at impact of robbing budget A to pay budget B and decide on that basis.

  14. its funny how people see things different, I would have said the same about you.

and the other poster calling him a hun what a idiot.

    have a good morning.

  15. Auldheid

We will ahve to agree to disagree on this.

Pedro takes roughly 50% of his wage in a year as a bonus, if you think that is fair, fine, I don’t, and I reckon that 99.999999% of the support agree with me on that.

And we are not taking expenses into account here either, cos they wear a suit, they are entitled to expenses, sorry but no, I ran a business for many years, and never gave anyone expenses, did you get petrol money for going to your job ?

Did you get meals paid for you ?

    I could go on P

    They are taking the piss.

    Pay the LW, end of.

What PL gets as a bonus is a separate issue where some transparency and relationship to football performance would be more than welcome.

However the LW cannot be used as a back door mechanism to reduce what PL gets. That is not its purpose as I understand and subscribe to the idea.

  17. I’m no socialist cheerleader but to not sign up to the living wage is a a massive mistake both ethically and public relations wise.

Also. The case for bombing ISIS is weak. We’ve been here before.

Activists on roof of the Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace on 28 November 2015

The men are said to have scaled the roof at about 15:15 GMT

Two men scaled the roof of a building at Buckingham Palace in a protest over fathers’ rights.

Martin Matthews, 48, and Bobby Smith, 33, used a ladder to gain access to the Queen’s Gallery, at about 15:15 GMT, a spokesman for the men said.

It is understood the Queen and Prince Philip were not at the palace.

Scotland Yard said officers were called to a report of a protest at 16:28 GMT. The incident ended at about 11:00 and two men were arrested.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: “Officers attended and two males were found to have climbed on to the roof of the entrance at the location.”

    Image caption

Two police officers stood guard nearby

The men sat on a roof about 18ft (5m) high at the entrance of the public art gallery, which is located on a road to the side of the main gate to Buckingham Palace.

Two police officers – one armed – stood on an adjacent roof a few feet away, while a number of others were on the road.

One of the men held a banner reading: “I’m Harry’s dad. Stop the war on dads.

The protesters’ spokesman said the demonstration was part of a campaign by the groups New Fathers 4 Justice and Stop The War On Dads.

They are campaigning over rights for fathers in divorce and separation proceedings and the reform of the family courts.

Two men were later arrested on suspicion of trespassing on a protected site, the Met said.

Both where thought to be members of the CT…..allegedly.
