Stop press: charade continues

1208

Prospective Rangers owners, Brian Kennedy and the Blue Knight (I refused to continue to pluralise a singularity) have submitted a joint bid for the club, which they consider to be “substantial”, which should mean it’s worth a lot more than the £11.2m Bill Miller spoke about last week.

The offer is conditional on a CVA being approved and Craig Whyte’s shares being acquired.  For a CVA to be put to the unsecured creditors, the secured creditor, Craig Whyte, would have to be satisfied first.

Whyte’s security as a creditor is valued (by him) in the order of £30m.  All proceeds from the sale of the club up to this value go to him unless he waves his rights or is subject to lengthy legal challenge.  Only money over and above this value will be available to the non-secured creditors, most importantly HMRC and Ticketus.

So, unless Kennedy and the Blue Knight have bid considerably north of £30m, we’re not talking pennies in the pound, we’re talking pennies in the £100m.  In the event a CVA is concluded, Ticketus own circa the first 25,000 tickets sold for each game for the next three years.

Apologies for repeating the same story now for ten weeks: Craig Whyte is the only show in town, he always has been.  Unless you agree to purchase his shares and security, any bid is a fantasy.  I think I can hear Mr Whyte laughing from here.  Perhaps they’ll now stop blaming Raith Rovers.

Apparently, the charade continues.

There’s only one team in Glasgow.

  3. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire,

I have a wee feeling that Neil will play Paddy this weekend and I hope he destroys Rangers from midfield with his passing and his vision, Celtic have not explored this side of his game enough IMO and a central berth for the man where he can run the game when there is no real risk must be going through Neil’s mind.

    Paddy Prosinecki ;))

Paddy McCourt deserves to finish Rangers off in true footballing style.

  5. Loving the posts for pablophanque. Some of you know him as Steve Reynolds, I only ever chatted to him through this site, and it was always positive. The heartfelt tributes and reposts tonight show us he was a good guy, who was cherished by a lot of people for his generosity of nature. We swapped a few music links, but, as you do with any community of people that you value, I felt his loss and rooted for his family; I still do, and if his kids are looking in, I hope the positive influence your dad left on here persists strongly in your own lives.

I am now well and truly sick of the nonsense

There is only bias at all levels.

    Ready to chuck it.

BaBa there has been some problems with CQN these last few nights. Not sure what it is. It starts off with what you see then increasingly throughout the UK night time no access. Happened these last 3 nights. I suspect CQN is being DOS’d.

I’d love to see it (Paddy from the start, destroying the Boche) but I don’t think we will. I take heart from Paddy’s cameo last week – he played well and looked for a good pass, not just the shifty runs – but I don’t think NEil rates him enough to start against anyone, never mind the huns.

Not sure how to approach this game,. other than we view it as must-win – complacency not an option – which is the aspect that worries me most about Neil and his team motivation and selection. I don;t think our problem is bottle, I think our problem is attitude – sometimes the players look like they don’t want the win enough, and by the time they decide or are reminded that they do want it, it’s too hard to achieve. Sunday needs to be like Kilmarnock 6-0, full-on from the start; not Kilmarnock 3-3, where they suddenly remember who they are and who they are playing for.

Surely our manager cannot be so spiteful as to seny the best approximation to Lubo, put the boot into his oppressors, what other country in the world would his talent disappear

Denial Of Service, where hackers attack websites or hosts. Often it’s political, like targetted attacks, for example, after the arrest of Julian Assange and the subsequent refusal of PayPal and MasterCard to accept donations to support his freedom fund, hackers blocked both of those websites with resulting inconvenience/chaos.

Not sure what’s happened this week, and it may not necessarily be anything sinister. But maybe it is. Just because you’re paranoid etc

    No Probs thank you Gordon,

Kudos to Paul67, RTC, Phil Mac & Alex T for exposing the dark underbelly. My parents moved to england over 40 yrs ago and still believe the crap thats dripped through the MSM. Thanks to the aforementioned pioneers for forcing the truth into the light. Will Scotland move forward? It needs people like these and Auldheid to force through change, I would hate to see Celtic become a franchise elsewhere, yet its time to end their oppression of Celtic and what we stand for.

Denial of Service …some hun is asking CQN’s DNS name server for CQN resolution so many times a second no one else can resolve CQN. It starts of slowly..could be that or some SQL injection attack into the CQN database. Last night CQN was incommunicado from the USA for about 5 hours.

Revenge will be upper most in Celtic players minds this Sunday, even though we are CHAMPIONS. They were cheated out of that last game against them and the huns know they were helped to that victory.

I have no doubts the Celtic players will have the perfect attitude for Sunday. ;))
