Stinky, Eddie, Jamsey and must not forget the ref who helped make a. Great match and an important result for hoops

65% possession and only win 4-3, nothing tae daevwith us playing poor but 2 nane penalties, how does that quisling sleep at night, if what I believe in is true he’ll be a long time in purgatory that’s if he’s fortunate tae get that far.
Great result and some tremendous fight form an over-criticised group of players.
2 soft penalties- the 2nd of which would never be givwn by a competent official, James Wilson blatantly kicking Lustig off the ball and Lustig gets talked to, and Niall McGinn staying on the park after a leg breaker.
That’s what this team was up against and they won- just brilliant, so it was.
GIRUY Lurkin huns! Oh Aye! and season’s greetings too!
As important three points as we have achieved in the last 2-3 seasons. At 2-1 I was confident my bet was on, (Sinky 1st goal 3-1 the Bhoys at 40s) Ref had other ideas. Might have ended close but those penalties flattered the Dons all day long. Had to dig deep after the second and we did. Ref more fifth Column than Willie Collum.

As Brendan just said, there was a gulf between the two teams at Pittodrie today. We were worth more than 4-3. Cheatin wee bassa Collum tried his hardest.
Celtic beat the most consistently complained about referee in Scottish Football and a ‘staunch’ challenge from our closest rivals since 2012,
Hoops without Keiran Tierney is like tea without milk, a veritable green brigade without a drum, and our vintage Honduran fell foul of the SFA ‘outside of the box thinking’ to award anything against Celtic that resembles a penalty. Celtic threatened from the off despite the lack of a recognised striker Celtic were the only side with a goal threat, and Aberdeen’s prop forwards rammed everything in sight.
We then proceeded to play balls from the back as per the plan , that came unstuck when route one football should have been used until Celtic had put time between the opening goal, and the next.
Craig Gordon has the most talked about feet in Celtic circles and its just as well that he is such a good shot stopper, to somehow merit the yellow jersey. Scott Brown slowed down the high press as Celtic played the passing game till it was time to unleash Eddy and Celtic’s record breaking signing as the biggest transfer fee in the history of Scottish Football ( cheating excluded ) scored, and made the winning goals.
Run of the mill strikers would have hit a flat left foot shot to go past Joe Lewis but Edouard’s pure pedigree lifted the ball away and beyond into the gaping net, James Forrest stayed focussed to make the crucial second and Scott Sinclair deservedly grabbed the match ball for a hat trick away from his nightmare shift wide left, and three good finishes.
‘Unfancied’ Jonny Hayes cleverly deployed by BR was on familiar ground and revelled in the dimming Northern lights especially with one well timed tackle that put him in the next side ahead of Izzy? – and put to bed an earlier costly lunge
Another Celtic boxing day battering for our biggest rivals Aberdeen and the SFA

I blame Kafflik schools.

M.O.M Scott Sinclair
Malden = Madden
Thank you, Celtic
Great and so important a result.
Let’s hope we get a result in Govan on Saturday, no matter what cheating takes place.
And Jonny Doyle scores with a header I still recall to this day, wiz right behind it?
Does anyone have links to the Aberdeen Penalties?
JJ
Posted last week that in Ed’s absence Sinky should lead the line as his pace would keep defenders deeper and create space.
Formation today did not help but once Ed came on to gives us attack from left and JF picked up on right it worked well.
The second and third goals came from space in midfield to play great passes.
Also once again Rogic and McGregor both in forward roles failed. They both end up denying each other space.
McGregor and Brown would be better if they both played in deeper spots.Mac on left Brown on right
FAN-A-TIC,
It won’t be problem on Saturday, as Rogic won’t be playing.
A front three of Edouard, Sinclair and Forrest looks good for Saturday.

I don’t know who Tony Connolly is ,whose account of the match is on the official club site ,but he needs his erse kicked.
He describes the sheep first penalty as a late tackle by Izzy and Lustig ‘toppled over’ Shinnie for the second!?
No mention of McGinn’s leg breaker on Christie at all , in fact no criticism of Collum whatsoever.
Is the guy a complete idiot or is he under orders from above?
Aberdeen play a certain way. It isnae pretty but it has been effective enough for them to be consistently the 2nd best team in Scotland.
Celtic done very well to win the game Today.
Magical Celtic.
