Who do you bring in though?
We are top of the league by three points and have a +26 superior goal difference to Aberdeen, our nearest challengers who have now played their two home games against us and still have to come to Celtic Park to face what will be a large, hostile crowd. I’m backing Celtic to win.
Dreadful 2nd half- we never laid a glove on them – and yes, I know we scored.
Aberdeen can now claim they deserved the win.
No excuses for this one (Tierney and Brown scrape a pass mark- the rest were found wanting). Kazim Richards put himself about but he is more of a 4:4:2 knock down merchant and he deserved a red for that stamp.

It must be clear now that we are not very good, or we do not have very good players or squad is very poor – whatever way you want to put it.
It must be clear that winning the league is now dependent on whether aberdeen have a poor run because as soon as we are challenged we have no response.
Tohear other fans chanting your manager’s name should tell us something
ronnie may struggle to survive this, unless he suits PL financial plan
No way are we’re winning this league with Ronny Deila & John Collins.
Ever since JC stuck his neb in we’ve been marking time. Gutted!
Get a guy who can bring a bit of steel and begin the makings of creating a team with a spine.
It’ll never ever happen with RD & JC or either or.

Statistically we were due a defeat. We can afford 5 defeats based on previous seasons points totals. However, that gives Aberdeen a huge boost. They played like the team with 3 times the turnover of the opposition.
They have the momentum and we have a liability in charge and a guy pulling the strings treating the club like his own personal chemistry set.
If we lose the league I expect Lawwell to be physically removed by the support.
Ronny has had an entire squad of players signed for him. No change and we are getting worse.
Whatever happens with RD JC and JK tonight or tomorrow who can come into the club and win the league with this squad of players, we have an abundance of average and very average players, but the change must come now.
Sorry lads but he’s gotta go we are atrocious no heart no spark totally lifeless team with no balls whatsoever – buckle under pressure in every big game
Lustig & Biton have been disgraceful in the last 2 matches
Armstrong & McKay-Stevens are not good enough and we must have better at lennoxtown or out on loan

Great post, BUT, I don’t believe this guy has the nous to get us out of this nightmare. I honestly hope he can, but his shortcomings are coming home to roost. LACK OF EXPERIENCE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Lawwell MUST stand accused for this failure. IMHO. HH

I say for the rest of the season we become a 442 hoof the baw team. There. I said it.
It seems to me some players have just given up. Forrest? If I were him I’d be bursting a gut to attack my man. It’s only Aberdeen FFS! A bunch of journeymen!
Instead I doubt he broke a sweat.
Our 2 best players were Sviatchenko, playing his second game, and Tierney, an 18 year old. Well done CKR as well. If Ronnie has the guts to play 2 up front he will score more than a few.
Enjoyed that game. Karim will do very well. Griff out of sorts tonight, but nevernhid. Celts battled till the end. No whitebflag from me. 4 points clear (goal difference).

were behind by 2 was utterly pathetic.
Anyone who doesn’t think we can blow this league
is kidding themselves on.
If that happens it will have a catastrophic effect
on OUR club which will linger for year’s….akin to
the time Judas signed for the hun.
Some on here say OUR club is rotten from top to

is OUR manager and his staff.

100% agree. Every good player has been sold by Lawwell over the last 5 years. Celtic are a poor team with bang average players and a manager whose previous job was with effectively a semi pro club.
Is it a surprise. No. The silence that greeted the goal by LG tells you everything you need to know. The fans have don’t have real anger towards Ronny. The dogs in the street not that Lawwell has masterminded the downsizing to a calimitous scale….which might get worse with the title now at risk.
As I have advised for 2 years now Lawwell is destroying Celtic whilst extracting as much as possible for himself …he will soon be at the £10M mark.
In the 10 years Lawwells compensation package has increased by 600%. Have Celtic made similar progress. I will let Lawwells pet poodles answer that one.

i thought that was a good game. Beaten by a screamer and a poorly defended corner, sure.
But we showed fight. We played football too. A few weeks and we’ll be further ahead.
Erik, CKR and hopefully Roberts will prove to be excellent additions. Certainly the contributions of Erik and CKR tonight were to be admired.
Tierney continues to excel and he now lasts a full game.

Lustig is now a liability. Bitton wasn’t in the game, mostly because the ball was flying over his head.
Stretch looked to be having a good game but can understand him being hooked at half time due to the booking.

I’m sure that someone else must have already wondered why RD was awarded “Manager of the Month” for January.
I’m afraid that, after the last two games, I have now joined the “Ronny Out” gang! I really do believe that he has great ideals, and that, in a perfect world, his “ideal” team might win out, but the current SPFL set-up will not afford him the luxury set-up that is required.
God help me, I hate to be seen to be thinking like Andy Walker, but that’s how bad things are right now!

The worry is that the manager is probably thinking we missed Johansen, get shot ffs that’s enough. You know I can’t even whole hearted.y blame the manager he is just another cheap experiment, and any replacement is likely to be a further reduction in cost and quality.
So on that logic I suppose we should keep him as long as we can because the next manager might actually know less about football than me or you, and thats no as far fetched as some might think, I watched the Lisbon lions closely for their whole reign, I know a good player, I know the difference between a good player and a great player and I know how the game should be played, I know who to take out of a game to change the flow, and many on here do. So the next time someone tells you you can’t possibly do that job ask them if a coaching badge is all tahrs required to manage a team?
I could do better than many many current professional managers because I know what I want from a team and how I like the game to be played.
