BROONY’S SMILES BETTER

CELTIC skipper Scott Brown has responded to Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes’ “good wee boy” remark at the weekend.

The midfielder, who played a pivotal role in the Hoops’ 1-0 win over the Dons, surprised the Pittodrie gaffer and Graeme Shinnie when he snatched a tactics note out of the rival captain’s hand.

In a jocular fashion, Brown raced to the touchline and passed it to Brendan Rodgers, who crumpled the paper up and threw it away.

At the press conference afterwards, McInnes commented: “I could say something, but I won’t.

“But what I will say is he ran straight to his manager, didn’t he? Like all good wee boys.

“To be fair, what was written on the paper was not anything which was complicated.”

Brown, though, responded through Instagram when he posted a screenshot of the story in a national newspaper and captioned it with several laughing emojis.

It just goes to prove what we all already know, Broony is smiles better.
