AARON MOOY played the entire 90 minutes of Australia’s 1-0 World Cup Finals warm-up win over New Zealand in Brisbane today.
The Celtic midfielder, who was taken off at half-time in the 2-0 loss to St Mirren in Paisley at the weekend, was a pivotal fIgure in his country’s last home appearance before the Qatar tournament between November 21-December 18.
Mooy, 32, who agreed a two-year contract with the Parkhead club in the summer, operated in the anchorman role as Graham Arnold’s side claimed a 33rd-minute winner from Awer Mabil, a spectacular long-range effort for his eighth strike for the Socceroos.

There will be a rematch between the countries in Auckland on Sunday.
The Aussies are looking forward to their fifth consecutive World Cup Finals following their penalty-kick play-off shoot-out win over Peru in Qatar in June.
They will meet France, Tunisia and Denmark in Group D of the football showpiece.
