FORMER Rangers defender Bert Konterman believes Celtic will be branded a disgrace if they fail to dump the Ibrox side on Sunday.
The Dutchman said: “If Celtic lose at Hampden, it’s a disgrace for them.
“They would be slaughtered by their fans.
“It would last until they win the league and get going in the Champions League qualifiers.
“Celtic are stronger than Rangers (sic) because they play in a higher league and have more money.
“They have to win – they really have to.
“If you were making a prediction, you would put all your money on them.”
Konterman insists all the pressure is on the Hoops.
He said: “They are the biggest club, they have the money so Rangers are underdogs.
“In some ways it makes it easier for Rangers – they can focus on playing their game.
“It’s a chance for my old club to test themselves against Celtic, but there is no pressure because everyone expects Celtic to win.”
Bert’s old club was liquidated in 2012, did no-one tell him?
