CELTIC misfit Yuki Kobayashi is on the wanted list of TWO MLS clubs as he heads for the Parkhead exit.

The Japanese central defender signed a year ago as a free agent after coming to the end of his contract with J-League outfit Vissel Kobe.

Kobayashi, who agreed a five-year deal with the champions, hasn’t figured in the first team this season and has emerged as a target for Real Salt Lake and FC Dallas with the American transfer window due to open for business on Wednesday.

THE FINAL APPEARANCE…Yuki Kobayashi in action in the 4-2 loss against Hibs at Easter Road in May. Scott Bain sits this one out as he prepares to react to a Kevin Nisbet header.

The 23-year-old left-sided back-four operator made five appearances under ex-boss Ange Postecoglou and his successor Brendan Rodgers will not stand in the player’s way with the MLS pair looking to take him on loan, as reported in the Scottish Sun.

Kobayashi came off the first-team picture after the 4-2 loss to Hibs at Easter Road in May which came shortly after a dismal display in a 3-0 defeat at Ibrox, both reverses after the title had been secured.
He is one of a number of fringe players who could be on their way out with Mikey Johnston also interesting Championship side West Brom.
