   The SPFL will be gutted that they threw all the harder games at us at the start and we won them all.

    Lennon n mcmjalby – GD is important. It will be another cause of mirth, merriment, how far away they are from ever getting anywhere near us again.

     

     

    We can destroy them completely this year in everything we do.

     

     

    It’s only for larks really. Aberdeen and hearts will be the serious games!!! Mauling the tribute act and destroying next seasons SB sales for them is an interesting diversion.

    Even before goal, I was going Rogic for MOM. Tierney, Eric & Sinclair were my other stand outs & Roberts caused them all sorts of panic when he ran at them.

     

    We were pedestrian for long periods of second half and the final flourish meant we are slightly flattered by scoreline.

     

    However having come off a big European game in Israel to beat your main rivals 4-1 will do for me every time.

     

    Delighted to see Neg on enjoying the moment.

    Got to be happy with that 3pts after a 5000 mile journey tension humidity and 30m at stake, important to mark the card of our challengers early doors, they will take points off each other and will be too strong for Sevco, so brilliant Celtic lets wait and see what the last few days of the window bring.

    I am absolutely delighted with that result.

     

     

    The performance was poor for long spells but it is understandable given the travel and the game the other night.

     

     

    Aberdeen are not a great side but they are organized and with Hayes they are a threat to every team in the league. Thankfully he was not able to play today nor was Jack.

     

     

    I think them and Hearts will be strong over the season in the league.

     

     

    We ”randomly” got 3 very hard opening fixtures before the Internationals. We won them all, have a game in hand and play the Govan galacticos next with a chance to put 4 points between us and have a potential lead of 7 points before October is out.

     

     

    All we need now is a few players to come in to have a go at the Champions league and push us on domestically and the season is shaping up to be a good one.

     

     

    I would have liked us to play with more tempo today because when we did Aberdeen were all over the place but as I say the other night’s efforts probably had something to do with that.

     

     

    Lets do this Celtic.

    Hearts, Ross county, st Johnstone – practically every team will fancy it against them.

    great result but plenty to ponder – cut the team some slack due to midweek exertions. Aberdeen caused us problems with their pace and had spare men on the back post on a few occasions. Better teams will punish us if we are honest. if BR likes the attacking style we need more pace and defensive minded power and right back and midfield. I hope we sort that out, otherwise we will get sliced apart! We won’t always have a manager of the quality of BR , lets give him everything we have financially – he certainly won’t waste it.

     

     

    PS not impressed with the goalie – prefer gordon for sevco
