Brilliant. Despite being tired, great result.
That fixture ‘computer’ thingy hasn’t worked out very well has it? Huns’ first 4 matches against relegation fodder, whilst we play 3 of the best teams in the league in and around our ECL qualifiers. Assuming we pump them after a fortnight’s rest and then beat Thistle in due course, we will be 7 points clear after 5 games. Then they have to play Ross Co, Aberdeen and Hertz, the latter two away. I suspect even Chris Jack will have his work cut out keeping it positive after that little lot! I can see the natives turning against the Magic Hat in the not too distant. Then squint.
Meantime we’ll have a marquee signing (hopefully McCarthy), Barca, Man City and BMG to enjoy. Good times.

Evening shark jumps hopeful speculation that Sevco could go 7 points clear if they beat us on the 10th – what happened to that?

Barton isn’t their favourite either. Halliday better keep off the internet unless he has a really thick skin. They think kranjcar can play but is totally unfit and the less said about Kieran and hill the better!

Super start to the season. CL group stages and top of the league with a game in hand. We need to offload a few players before the transfer deadline closes but we have two weeks now to iron out a few of our early season weaknesses.

The extension of Tom Rogic’s contract now looks like the best business of the year. He has definitely staked his claim to a regular slot in midfield. With his previous injury problems he seems to have been around for a while but he is still only 23yrs of age.
Must say as well I just love what Paddy Roberts brings to the game, I want him to start every game.
Bitton is a no for me, too slow and ponderous, Need to get someone in.

Doris was pretty woeful with his kicking today and didn’t really have anything to do “keeper” wise apart from kicking.
On another point, I see Olly Burke scored again for Notts Forrest – we should be looking into this kid.

Hard to judge DeVries as a shot stopper as he didn’t rally face any.
But his distribution was poor today.
Tierney has been on the receiving end of some very dirty challenges this season.
Is he being deliberately targeted or is he just a step ahead of most opponents?
Lustig struggled with pace today.
Erik was rusty so needs to get up to speed quickly.
I think O’Connell is unlucky to lose his place but time is on his side.
Toure was very good again but is a little short of pace which is really the whole back line except Tierney.
Maybe why we brought in DeVries as sweeper keeper.
This midfield formation needs better players.
Rogic is superb and he lasted 90 minutes today.
Sinclair makes some lovely runs off the ball as team mates get used to him we will reap rewards.
JF is a skilfull and smart player who just needs to stay involved more.

Far too early to judge de Vries. Couldn’t be blamed for goal, one very good punched save. Looked alert & speedy around the box, one nightmare attempted pass and 3 or 4 poor ones.
Verdict. Wait & See.

It’s amazing how many players don’t seem to realise that hard work and clean living equals a marked improvement in their game. Can’t fault the Griff, some stunning goals.
I thought 4-1 flattered us as we weren’t great but hey I’ll take it!

Definitely as the team started to pass and move again after he was subbed.
I just don’t see any positives in him.
I stated he would slow us down and give away frees in dangerous areas and he duly obliged not to mention abstaining responsibility by passing to team mates under pressure.

Leigh paid tribute to a young bhoy from Coatbridge who tragically collapsed last week playing football on a public park where many have played, I think the decision was taken yesterday to turn off the life support machine, Leigh had contacted the family to say he would score and recognise the young bhoys passing (seemingly Leigh said in the 13th minute)

I must have watched a different game. Just listened to Derek McInnes and it seems Aberdeen matched us and were robbed by the ref (apparently as they always are at CP). I guess we’ve just got lucky beating them 23 times in a row at home, scoring 70 goals along the way. Thanks Scottish refs (cough).
