Not at all, i was on a bit of a downer last night and not sure if I should have posted, but like many others have said it sometimes gives you strength and a bit of comfort, my brother, sister in law and young nephew were a lot closer to the situation and last night it got the better of me, anyway our whole families circle the wagons and look after each other….it was a very strange day lots of joy with the sadness not too far behind the laughter

Gerry, sorry about the bad news you have received.
I’ll hopefully get to speak to you at some point tomorrow.
Saw that on Twitter. Turns out one of the guys in front of the bus was furious because the driver stopped the bus and allowed one of the monkeys on board to spit on his 10 year old son.
Two sides to a story.

I will be in tomorrow, it happened last Monday and was a shock, but last night it sort of hit home when my nephew phoned me a broken bhoy, sometimes it’s easier trying not to think about things, I am brand new and I know for a fact the whole of our families are there for each other, I probably got carried away last night, a bit helpless but I suppose posting a few words on this site does actually a help
Anyway on a lighter note I bet Hibs & Everton today with both teams scoring and young Finn Michael had an amazing christening so there are always a positive for any negative

I know we are overloaded with mid-fielders but I reckon Bitton will have his eyes on an EPL switch, Kris is in the twilight of his career & while there is hopefully a couple of years left in Brooney, his body has taken more punishment then most.
I would take McGinn in a heartbeat, I’d give them McGregor and a few bob to balance the trade. I have never got over the fact that we didn’t sign James McCarthy and don’t want to experience the same regrets as I watch McGinn go on to greater things.
Obviously the fact that he is Jack McGinn’s grandson and a Tim provide an added incentive but more importantly he is a bloody good footballer and at 21 is at the perfect age.

How many midfielders do you Bhoys want Celtic to sign ? If we want to bring in any other midfielders in my opinion we should move two or three of the current crop out.H.H.

Whilst we have a lot of midfielders i agree that we need to start thinking about a replacement for Brown. I’m sure after today the scouts will be dispatched to watch McGinn carefully, after all they will be watching Liam H anyway. If he’s good enough maybe a deal in January along the lines of buy and loan back. Hibs will need to be careful as their fans will go bananas if they appear to becoming a feeder club for us. As you say a sweetener may be required. Would not worry too much about Biton, by all accounts he is very happy at Celtic.

Celtic know every player in Scotland inside out. The young boy is 21 wouldn’t get in our first team. If he developes further at Hibernian he will get his move.

For some reason thoughts about Miki67 started coming into my head today. I have absolutely no idea why. He shared his own passing with us on this thread and whilst I would always imagine that people confronted with imminent death would have different priorities. Miki67 remained an unrepentant Fenian B*****d up to the last days. Never forget his story of how a Hun worker in the Hospital was tormenting him on his death bed, so his only response available was to hit her with a stream of projectile vomit.which he duely did. Maybe not the most edifying story but must say it made an impression on me. I hope you are in a happy place Miki67, God Bless You.
Cowriebhoy if you are still on? What was the Friday night fish fry in Barbados like? Am currently on a Cruise and end up in Barbados on Friday, so was wondering if it’s worth it. And how far is it from Bridgetown? I may not get back on CQN for a day or two so will check back to see if you’ve left a reply. HH

A topic came up in the Brazen earlier. How many of the 48000 yesterday go to Mass?
3000 was the general consensus, but I went higher, maybe double that. Which led to another question, how many chapels are there in Glasgow in 2015? I think I read 70ish a couple of years ago but again I got shot down, punters reckoning 30 odds.
Forgot to ask you yesterday at the game, how was Christy?

Marrakesh, Your post reminds me of one of my first visits to Glasgow for a game. It must have been a Sunday game coz I was going to Mass. Headed off to a Church down along by the river and somehow in my innocence expected the place to be full of hooped jerseys. I was all alone in the hooped stakes and most of the small congregation appeared Asians/Filipinos.
