You have to admire how Barcelona swarm to keep possesion or win it back and the work we are putting in to keep them at bay.

What a first half and what a scoreline. No question Barcelona are a fantastic side , but for all their intricate play, the Bhoys have by and large kept them at bay. We look threatening going forward but we are being pinned back so far in our own half that when we do get forward there is no support for the front 2 from midfield.
Victor looks the one player in our team who is commanding his position. Winning every challenge and then scoring the only goal. Great corner from Charlie, Miku did a Hooper and blocked the keeper, leaving Victor with a one on one at the back post. Great headed finish.
Mathews has been great first half at left back. Kelvin also looks assured. Miku and Sammi have both done as well as can be expected.
It’s going to be a long 45 to the finish but we are well in it. Need a bit more from Ledley and Commons when we are in possession. We need to somehow find a way to get them under pressure at the back. Their central defender (Song?) is lucky to be on the park after a second bookable foul. What an atmosphere in the stadium!

Watching in Spain and they are astounded that Barca are not winning although said big Vic’s goal was like taking candy from a kid so bad was their defending. They have now gone quiet for YNWA, said best if they just stay quiet and enjoy.
That Barca would be a good side if they had a finisher.
