Yeah it’s a danger at times. There are a couple of sites that list these types of rubbish e-mails.

    They can really mislead people.

    Evening All.

Thought we played OK today – better than Tuesday.

Good that the fringe players are getting the chance. It means games are tighter but 17 matches across November – December needs managing.

I suspect we’ll sneak past our next three opponents, wipe the floor with Sevco and then go on holiday.

Re: brother Madden – opinions can vary but facts don’t lie.

A team with 62% possession (meaningful possession too which three times as many goal attempts) committing more than FOUR TIMES the number of fouls of their under pressure opponents is an extreme statistical improbability.

If anyone has access to OPTA i am pretty certain you won’t find anything like it anywhere in European football this season.

    Hail hail

  3. Gordon 64

RT is an interesting station with a good punchy polemical output. If they can show where fact checkers got it wrong, all well and good.

If anyone argues that, because they got things wrong, all their fact checking should be discounted, that would not be good.

I’ll put my trust in the person who does their research and opens it up to examination by their peers. That is how we have progressed and held back superstition and unproven views, whether establishment backed or not.

The link I provided showed that there was almost a fatal outcome to the gullibility of the guy who believed Jeffrey Marty. If there was any proof that anyone was running a paedophilia sex slave organisation, it should be provided and evaluated by approved legal authorities and the wider public. It should not be actioned by mob rule or lone gunmen.

That is why it is dangerous.

Good 3 points today when the ref is his usual shit and our defence were also shit all day .

A big thanks to both Oldtim and Dena for their donations to my bhoy

    Love and kisses

  5. Back To Basics

I agree that today was a better performance than the Hamilton game. I was expecting more discontinuity to be caused by 5 changes (though I understand the need for them).

We controlled the game for 75 minutes but were profligate with chances before a deflected goal caused nerves and an opportunity for Dundee to steal 2 points from us.

Brendan needs to keep rotation going as our fans seem to be invested in getting a result against the plucky promoted team from last season’s Championship. I would expect to see Moussa back in the starting line up on Tuesday

  6. SFTB

My starting point would be in general not to believe what the msm are peddling, invariably they lie, I am not talking about everyday stuff, but things like foreign policy, the wars etc.

When 99% of the msm are pushing lies down your throat all day and every day it’s no wonder people start to believe the lies.

I have always been in the suss it out camp before I will believe anything, it’s stood me in good stead for the 60+ years I have been around, don’t see any need to change now.

    HH

  7. SFTB The bottom line is do not believe the ‘facts’ we are given as ‘news’. Aleppo is a prime example of misinformation on all sides. As John Pilger says ‘it is not enough for journalists to see themselves as mere messengers without understanding the hidden agendas of the message and myth that surround it. Hh

  8. I thought Gamboa was good in the first hour or so. Much like the team he fell away after the hour mark. We were extremely comfortable during the first hour then we seemed to switch off mentally. Our game management wasn’t great and certainly more leadership was needed. We seemed to be unnecessarily anxious. Maybe the players thought Madhun had something up his sleeve.

  9. TTR

Good to catch up with you today.

My biggest surprise in our line up today was the omission of Patrick from the team today. Think the players got as pissed off wi Madden as the crowd did. Cheatin bassa.

Craig Whyte has slashed the amount of cash he is trying to squeeze out of oldco Rangers by more than £21million.

The club’s former owner has failed in a string of attempts to grab as much as £25million from the assets.

An interim report to creditors by joint liquidators BDO has now revealed that Whyte submitted a new claim of £3.5million in July.

Former Rangers owner Craig Whyte gets bankruptcy order lifted over his debts of more than £20m

Whyte’s original claim for £25million was lodged by Law Financial Limited, a company owned by the Worthington Group, of which he was a director.

Whyte demanded £18.5million through his firm The Rangers FC Group Limited (TRFC) in 2015 but that too was thrown out by liquidators. TRFC were formerly Wavetower Limited.

    Assets like Ibrox are untouchable

Whyte’s latest claim for £3.5million means a further delay for creditors hoping to secure a dividend from the assets of the oldco.

The club’s major assets, including Ibrox Stadium and the training ground at Auchenhowie, were transferred to the newco when it was formed in 2012, so can’t be touched.

Although any payout to Whyte is unlikely, BDO say they are taking legal advice because the claim “purports” to be “secured”, which means the company would be head of the queue for a payout.

Craig Whyte Rangers trial needs extra time as court sets three months aside for marathon case

The BDO report said: “Following protracted correspondence, Wavetower confirmed it would withdraw both its appeal of the joint liquidators’ rejection and the claim itself.

“Wavetower subsequently submitted a new secured claim of £3.5million on July 12, 2016.

“No supporting documentation was provided with the claim, which the joint liquidators rejected on August 22, 2016.

“Under the rules, Wavetower had until October 16, 2016 (14 days before the end of the next relevant accounting period) to appeal against the rejection.

“It failed to respond and, as such, a creditor would generally be excluded from the benefit of an interim dividend.

    Whyte at the High Court

“As the Wavetower claim purports to be secured, however, the joint liquidators have been liaising with their legal team to understand what further steps are required before they can prepare a fresh Scheme of Division and declare a first dividend to creditors.

“Once this matter is resolved, we intend to consult with the committee to agree a new Scheme of Division to allow a first dividend to be declared and paid to unsecured creditors with agreed claims.”

Rangers oldco liquidators given green light to appeal to Supreme Court over legality of EBTs

In a case at the High Court in Glasgow, Whyte is accused of carrying out fraud to take over Rangers in 2011.

He put the club into administration over an unpaid tax bill in 2012 which led to Charles Green buying the assets.

The taxman is the largest claimant against the oldco’s assets and is demanding £92million.

Ticketus, who were sold the rights to Ibrox season ticket revenues for three seasons, are also one of the creditors.

  11. Our cool composed central defensive pairing completely collapsed in the last 20 minutes. They didn’t break sweat in the first half but when called upon to earn their wages they were close to useless.

  12. Never saw the game today.. how did Christie play ?

Haven’t seen Liam Henderson in squad in a while.. had high hopes for him .

Lack of leadership in the last 20 mins could have cost us points today. Erik and Jozo are not Broonie leadership material.

I thought that Ryan and GMS were quiet today and failed to make the most of a starting place in the team.

  16. GORDON64

Not really in agreement with you. We had a much changed side with a few players in front of our centre halves with limited game time recently.

Thought Gamboa did really well until he started to run out of gas, no need to panic yet.

Even if the Manky Mob fluke a result against us, we will win league by 15 points at least.

My jump the dyke sister drove past Celtic Park this morning to attend the RC v Dons game today. She thought it was one of Marcus’ best performances. I have some happy family members up in Dingwall tonight.

    Great result RC!

Big o’dea is one of us.. no doubt about it.

I like Christie .. he’s got a football brain. Bit lightweight so not sure if he can move upto the celtic level.

SOAL, what was your boy looking for donations for? You should have said. I had a calendar I could have donated:_)

Smashing day out today, lovely to see wee Dena smiling again. You were beaming brightly G and rightly so.

DD has taken up residency in the seat beside me in the absence of my wee pal James. I’m worried about the absence of the wee fella but equally happy to have the company of Bob Marley’s baldy Scottish brother.

Another three points, another win, another step closer to total Celtic.

    Another dram.

Nice guy GMS seems to be and honest pro but don’t think he is good enough for us.

Hopefully he stays in the league with another team cause no doubt he is good player.

I want Liam Henderson to be in our starting 11 for years to come.. his chip pass to set up gudeitti against inter Milan says it all. Fingers crossed brendan gets it out of him.
