   Not long in from the game. Should have been 6-0 at HT. a bit of sloppy passing allowed them to get their goal, but that just triggered us to up the tempo again and got two in quick succession. The GB were magnificent and I liked the banner with “Mercer to get his way. One team in Edinburgh” or words to that effect. The winter break seems to have benifitted us. Brines…… Just the usual from one of Strathclydes finest and xST holder at the midden.

   Just in from game

    

    

   Celtic were superb today – moving the ball at pace 4 right good goals and the goal we lost down to hertz forward grabbing and shoving Mick Lustig all over the shop- and some bad luck that the ref didn’t see it

    

    

   Matty -first half astonishing

    

    

   Vic67 -in complete control- almost regal (is that allowed…;-)

    

    

   Sammi -turning on the afterburners and a few better placed passes in front of him would have launched a tremendous perfromance …one day soon..very soon we will watch that happening at CP

    

    

   Brines had some deft touches too – a complete joke of a ref -any reasonable observer would be forgiven for thinking that he is without the slightest clue at best, or playing to a different set of rules…at worst …or something else far more concerning!

    Thanks for the updates and goals today bhoys. Wife dragged me to B&Q and CQN kept me going.

     

     

    One point. I read that Sammi asked Bawb@g Brines to check the ball as he must have felt there was a problem with it. Did Brines ignore him or what?

     

     

    I remember seeing this once before – a player approaching the ref to check the ball – and the ref agreed and signalled for a new one immediately.

     

     

    It wiznae in Scotland though:-(

    I see some people are unhappy about the Palestine banner in 111 today- fair enough- freedom of speech cuts both ways and if they have a right to fly it then you have a right to voice your disagreement- but dont patronise those who flew it as silly wee boys- thats like me saying your a daft old fart for complaining- and I would never do that
