  2. Just back in thoroughly enjoyed the game, some very good performances especially Matthews, Hooper, Izzy and Wanyama.

Lovely goal from Lassad, he has an excellent touch and brings a quality to our play around the box.

“I also thought Green Brigade were great today. Did not like them putting up Free Palestine banner in 2nd half, not very welcoming for Israelis in our squad.”

There are many people in Israel who believe Palestine should be free. Not everyone from Israel supports the policies of their extreme right wing Government.

Just in from the game. Good performance all round, Hearts were very poor and their goal was against the run of play. Brines tried everything he could to help them after they scored and the Green Brigade were the standout for me

Just back. Really enjoyable day from the GB off the park to a really good performance from the players on it. Three o’clock kick off, a decent crowd and a lovely minutes applause for Mr.Fallon. Magic. Well done Celtic. HH.

  10. I have to agree with Kojo.

    Victor is awesome.

What a scary prospect he must look to a poor defender as he rumbles forward like a Chieftain tank at full speed.

Not long in from the game and noticing a worrying trend with the flying of the butchers apron- 3 I saw today- 1 from a house in Paisley, 1 on a car and 1 from a house near CP- ?solidarity with their NI cousins (and future spouses).

  12. Not long in and although I was watching the game through green speckled specs *thanks bjmac* Celtic played sparkling football, throughout.

There is now a massive SPL gulf in football class between the new full fat Hunnies, and Celtic could have won 9 – 0 playing like a well oiled machine they were fitter, faster and loftier on every level. You could easily see Celtic had benefitted from their Spanish break, the touch, appetite and ‘give and go’ had returned, and a poor Hearts outfit were flats flats flats.

Playing four games in such a short space of time and only three more sleeps till Paradise time, is a nice feeling.

M.O.M Victor Wanyama,- who was extraordinary.

Thats me and Wee BGFC in from the aforementioned pumping of the mini Huns – seems the part-timers showed up after all ;-)

Big Vic is awesome. Lost the ball a couple of times, but just strode up to the offending Jam Tart and casually brushed them aside as if to say “I’ll have that ball, thank you very much”. The boy is a phenomenon.

Some sublime touches from Sammi, and and Lustig was excellent in two or three different positions. Lots of good performances.

Never seen a referee have as many touches in a game – his defensive positioning on the edge of the Jam Tart’s box was top class.

  17. John McGlynn must have been at a different game to the rest of us today.

“The only positive you can probably take

is from being two down after 12 minutes

to possibly being in with a chance to win

the game with five minutes to go.”

    Chick Young on shortbread there,

Just heard him there on shortbread. Cant understand appointment of Mark McGhee as assistant manager, says its old pals act (irony alert). After all, he says, the cardigan appointed Tommy Burns to keep the other side happy!! Says WGS hasnt thought this through properly!

Where do you start with that???

    ——————————————————————————————————————-&

They must be hurting really badly. Last year their darlings died and this year 2 ex-Celtic men have taken charge of the National team.

Thought we looked fresh and lively today and I don’t think we got out of 2nd gear. Big Vic just strolled through the game, if he had been any more laid-back he would have fallen asleep. I just hope we can hold on to this group of players because I can see them doing something special. The problem is the money that is available because of Sky, unfortunately the English cannot see that it is killing their game. Too many overpaid, no better than average players do NOT make it the best league in the world! IMHO England will never come close to winning another international tournament while it is in bed with the devil.

  21. Fantastic performance by Celtic today imo,big Victor was incredible !! But heres my gripe !! The refereeing performance by brines was amateurish at the very best ! He touched the ball more than the farts centre forward and was directly involved with play on EIGHT occasions ! As well as blocking Celtic player run baffling decisions and an attitude torwards players that was decidedly arrogant ! Suspect he’s as good at his day job as he is on the field ! Brines = Honking ref !

  22. John McGlynn’s parents hail from Blantyre they moved through to Wallyford when the pits closed down in Blantyre.

Old Charlie his father was a good Tim.

John and his older brother Charlie make themselves out to be Jamtarts but deep down they are Tims, not to be trusted.

Something similar happened to English rugby ….they went mad with the sky cash a few years ago

It ruined the national team as the league was filled with foreign mercenaries

Sky cash is ruining the EPL ….he’ll mend them
