    Goldstar has joined Hayston also, so maybe a wee home and away round robin is a possibility.

    It was a special moment when Neil emerged from the Tunnel. He deserves that ovation every year. The SFA ban backfired and they continue to galvanise our support.

     

     

    Neil Lennon really has delivered for us. I kept thinking back the to his “just the beginning” speech after the Motherwell game 3 years ago. It’s worth another look..

    Celtic played crisp passing football on a pitch fit for bowls, in a stadium fit for Champions and eventually unpicked a professional side, that play ultra defensive football, with players that look like they would even kick door, for their manager.

     

     

    The visitors were told to thwart the party, but never had an earthly, and even though they made it till the second half, it was only a question of when Celtic would score.

     

     

    A clever disguised ball into the channel from player of the year? – Kris Commons and Gary Hooper looked to have lost his chance, as he let it on to his less lethal left. But Hoops was only picking his spot, and he must have chuckled at his detractors that said he left in January, as the ball nestled in the net, to end his drought.

     

     

    The Green Brigade ramped up the atmos, and Celtic flooded forward as Caley couldn’t sustain Celtic’s tide, and another chance fell to captain Joe on his swinger, but he decided to rattle it into the Celtic end net anway, and the mass huddle was now inevitable.

     

     

    A cross from the left saw Hooper flick his second with a sublime finish, and Samaras couldn’t wait to get in on the act, in case Paddy McCourt got their first. Paddy picked out his pal, who went on that maisy run, this time Sammi was hungry, and took Inverness and Timdom by surprise, by clobbering the ball into the roof of the Caley net, from the cutest of acute angles.

     

     

    The fifteen minute PR clock kicked in, and the SFA had unwittingly set up NFL for a gladatorial entrance fit for a king, that sent the support into raptures, in a countdown, where Neil’s eloquent victory speech befitting of the reigning, and new Champions, followed.

     

     

    Just another title winning Sunday in the life of Celtic.

    Concentration and application were the main ingredients of of Celtic’s performance. The big prize was there to be won and this time there were no silly defensive errors and the team won in style with champagne soccer in the second half. A great way to win the title with four fabulous goals and the usual articulate speech by Neil Lennon. Congratulations Celtic.

    Not long back from the game and all congratulations to the Bhoys today; in particular Chris K. (He and his partner Lisa Hague are really into the Celtic family. Nice touch with the strip today K) Neil and all the staff and players. Thanks to the Green Brigade for their unstinting support throughout the season. You are a credit to the Celtic philosophy of love, compassion and truth. Proud to be a Celtic Fan and as someone said earlier, ready to renew my season ticket!
