ANGE POSTECOGLOU lifted his first piece of silverware as Celtic manager when two goals from Kyogo Furuhashi fired the Hoops to a 2-1 comeback victory over Hibs in the Premier Sports League Cup Final in December 2021.

It was a thrilling and dramatic occasion at Hampden as the team got back on track following the misery of a trophyless campaign in the previous crusade.

Celtic had claimed the League Cup in four successive years before being derailed by relegation-threatened Ross County who won 2-0 at Parkhead in November 2020.

Thankfully, normal service was resumed last season and the holders now face Kilmarnock in the semi-final at the national stadium this evening as they edge towards another showpiece showdown.
