Paul the Tim has posted a photo of Kolo Toure and himself on Twitter.

Think it’s pretty safe to say Toure is a Tim.

    Dunno nothing about Toure.

My sons are divided on their opinion of him..

If pin up bhoy works on some serious strength training (esp nervous energy conditioning) he;ll be a great player.

The signing was worth it if only to get it up der hun and reinforce the laws of gravity on the dogs,

  4. Just looked in for a late night lurk……..James Forrest still the whipping boy…..even his penalty was cowardly ?????? Thanks for the sanity and humour provided by WITS as an antidote to some folks opinions on players selected by a Celtic manager to play for Celtic. Glad I don’t sit beside some on here. Best fans in the world. My arse.

Only a friendly , against a decent team.Who needs the SMSM for a negative.

Don’t get me started on Mark McNally, that team that liquadiated beat us one Sunday, me and my pals were drowning our sorrows in Harry Hoods (another doughball in real life) pub Angels, McNally and Raymond McStay sitting laughing and joking with all their hanger on pals, thankfully I would never annoy them but still lives with me them laughing and joking drinking their bottles of Miller Draft not worrying about going to work on the Monday…………

    The Huddle

Real Radio ….. Ewan & Roughie…… I actually phoned up and my call was Ulrik Laursen, David Fernandez (player of the year) & Magnus Hedman from Chelsea……. I think I said it was the 3 of the best signings we could have made………..

I was so wrong…..but in a good way

Ha! Reminded of an old Not The View Classic:

“The Celtic defence is full of holes,

    Always lose lots of goals;

When you stop and make a tally,

Most are caused by Mark McNally”

    Those were the days!

Still think there is definitely a player in O’Connell.

Watched him at Dens and his distribution of the ball was tremendous..

He struck that goal away brilliantly today too.

And yet against Wolfsburg he was horrendous, you could see from the stands he making the wrong pass before he did. All the alarm bells were going off :O)

Kelleher from the youth team looks ready to make the step up.

Fellow Celtic fans good night and God bless, we can mump and moan on here all day and all night but hopefully Brendan is on the one road not sure if it’s the wrong road but am sure we will find out, until reading the blog today I didn’t realise I like James Forrest as much……. Sometimes in fact most times we post rubbish but hopefully good rubbish…..

I know there are some posters who might not have Celtic’s best interests at heart BUT for the genuine Celtic fans that still want to get their y-fronts in a twist, if Celtic make you unhappy ditch them…..KevJ has alluded that I am a happy clapper……I hate Celtic getting beat, the Celtic board mean heehaw to me, but if Celtic don’t win, I know for a fact (if) I wake up the morra I won’t love my team any less……far more important things in life than Celtic….but it’s a magic fallback

    Apologies for the rant……

    Enjoy the good times

  19. GFTB –

I spent a couple of hours late last night swotting up on FC Astana. Did a fair bit of reading and looking at videos.

I came away feeling confident that Celtic will overcome the Kazakhstanis. They’re a hard-working side and well-organised, but shaky in defence.

That was before today’s performance v Leicester and the news that their top goal threat is out injured. Now I am doubly confident.

I firmly believe we will win in Astana. They play on plastic, but it is vastly superior to Lincoln Red Imps’ shocker of a surface and shouldn’t be too problematic.

At worst I think we’ll get a score draw.

My confidence is based on how bad shakhter karagandy were, I can’t remember such a poor team so that’s why I’m confident we’ll go through

  21. saltires en sevilla on

O’Connell seemed to go to pieces after deflecting a ball into the net v Wolfsburg

In a friendly! Fragile when we need steel.

Needs to toughen up and maybe Toure can help nurture that basic requirement.

His finish today was calmness and assuredness in large measure.

There is a player in there.

  22. Tricoloured Ribbon on

I watched the first half of the Development Team’s final against Everton today.

For me,the Celtic keeper,Doohan,Miller,Nesbit,Ralston and Crossan were Celtic’s best players..

Everton were a big solid side and our players, imo were more skilful.

Now here’s the wee prob.Ralston was red carded for nearly taking an Everton players head off….

What I saw off Ralston prior to that was superb incidentally.
