Charlie Gallagher got his fair bit of stick in his day and he was class. Too many too easily reckoned he had no heart, imo.

He’s getting it in the neck because he been the same type of player for years now, with no sign of improving after playing under 3 managers.

Tommy Callaghan. Stood in the Jungle every home game during the Tommy Callaghan years and I’ve never heard such scorn. The abuse TC got was unbelievable.
TC was the Efe of the mid-70s. And he was a good player. Like Efe is.

Aye but not for long! Used to help out my father in law in that regard. They were his chicks, so he couldn’t bring himself to do it. A fine son in law I am ;))
Davie Provan took helluva stick on a regular basis. He was a Hun mind, probably deserved on that basis alone although I couldnt understand it at the time.

Douglas McArthur can only improve. Obrien said he would like to get another 2 races into him this season but is worried about rushing him.
They let him roll from the front as the horse still doesn’t know what to do on a racecourse, he said his work is terrific at home.
I hope they stay fit, two totally different types of horses yet both exciting prospects. Who knows maybe a new Dancing Brave. :-))) Just thought I would put that in as its 30 years since it won the King George.

IIt was a cowardly penalty which sums him up unfortunately. Such a shame cause he’s blessed with pace and ability….but no baws.

He didn’t put a foot wrong, showed terrific composure, pace & ability. Why not treat the guy as a new signing & get behind the big man? Who knows with a bit of support at his back, he may just rediscover the consistency of his first season with us?

The Telfantor and Rab didn’t really do anything wrong.
Make a howler then you can join the escape goats but some players were just disliked because of their faces didn’t fit, our support is all inclusive (or not)

Efe has made one mistake under our new coaching staff, it did cost us a goal but at the end of the day it wasn’t that important.
That one mistake is way less than quite a few others have made, but they are getting away with it cos Efe is taking all the flak.
Funny thing is, I could well see BR going with Efe & Kolo as our CB’s :-)

When I was a kid their was a Steamie in Gibson St just beside the Barrowland at right angles to the Gallowgate. It joined Stevenson St and both were great for roller skating on midweek evenings, but not weekend ones. Hit a whelk shell at a roller rate of knots and it was skint elbows.
Anyhoo back at the Steamie I remember the wifies with their scarves tied above the heads all chatting away to each other.
On some occasions, if you stood at the door looking in and listened carefully, just discernible amongst the clanking of lids and the hiss of steam, you could make out the words. “See that James Forrest…..”
To sum up my contributions today (sadly) James Forrest should be nowhere near a Celtic jersey. Simples….for me.
