    I am happy with the team as, apart from Soro, no one on the bench has staked a strong claim to be in

     

     

    Also not worried about the players standing together as a message against Racism

     

     

    My worry is that Jk stated his game intentions to start fast and put Them on the back foot- he has left a hostage to fortune by making that public

     

     

    I hope our team can live up to this

    Managers, players and directors come and go but the 1 constant in any club is its support. By the same right the 1 constant in all our lifes is Celtic before we met our wife’s, before our children and grandchildren were born, in fact little do we know it but the majority of us supported Celtic before we were born.

     

     

    So come on let’s all get behind those 11 jerseys and kick every ball and sing about our great club.

    Like most Celtic supporters peeded off at the sight of that team selection, presumably in the same tired format. How he fails to see required changes ( any changes ) after Tannadice and two weeks training, beggars

     

    belief.

    No change to the line up that drew 0-0 at Tannadice in our last game…

     

     

    Does this confirm what many already believe…that the rest of our squad are so poor right now…that we have a better chance of improving on that performance by selecting the same XI rather than make a change?

     

     

    It could be argued…All on the bench have had their chance to improve the team and, barring Soro perhaps, none can claim to have succeeded.

     

     

    I am not feeling confident about today…at all.

     

     

    Moi has certainly earned the right to start ahead of Griffiths & Klimala (I note Ajeti is not on bench).

     

     

    But I think there’s something in the “horses for courses” viewpoint.

     

     

    Our best performance against them in recent times was at Ibrox, with Soro starting ahead of Brown, and Griffiths starting upfront alongside Edouard.

     

    I’d have been tempted to start them today on that basis.

    I understand that a lot of ghuys are pissed off at the Team selection, but being realistic, what other alternatives are there. You might tinker around the edges, swop one or two players out but for good or bad this is probably as near to the best selection we have.

     

    Still think it is good enough to beat them.

    at quarter to………………….Celtic hold a presser, pre-recorded.

     

    the film opens and Big Dom says , “we at Celtic are founded on principles and values we hold dear.

     

    We will not participate in this sham given the abuse our fans and all of Scotland and Europe are subjected to, we will not p0lay this game, we’ve played along too much already and it has to stop. It stops now.

     

    Scotland and today’s opponents must accept their transgressions and comprehensively address the issues of bigotry, sectarianism and racism endemic in the game here.
