Live updates will appear below after 12:00.

It’s the London Marathon today and Gillian McKinlay is running for the Andrea Kearney Fund, the only organisation in the UK setup to help pregnant women with cancer.

The stories behind this fund are sobering.  You can support them here.

  1. From Tom English`s BBC report:

” Rangers had been fortunate to escape a dismissal earlier with Halliday and were lucky again when Myles Beerman, already on a yellow for fouling Roberts, impeded him again a minute later.”

  2. Kept my gob shut during the game today after last weeks foot in mouth moment .

My only genuine complaint today is us taking our foot off the gas after the second goal. 3-0 up takes all hope away, and we can then indulge in the farting about with the passes across the back that give them some hope. That said, it was only their ‘keepr that kept the score down, even when we played at around 60%.

Pass marks for everyone today. Broonie was imperious in midfield, and always seemed to have time to play the Ball. Roberts scared the shi-ite out of them and a neutral ref might have sent one or two of them off in the first half. Every one of our players contributed today so no criticism of individuals ( not that i do that anyway )

As for them ? It say’s it all when their best player, by a long way, was 58 year old Kenny miller.they can have little hope for the future having watched that today. Next week, at their own midden is the time to really drive home to them how big the gap is, and how much it’s growing.

The officials ? Seen worse, but today we didn’t really give them the opportunity to be to be anything other than an irrelevance in the big picture.

Lastly. GTF Sky. You make no attempt to be impartial, and your bitterness is amost palpable.

  4. Anyone watching on TV wouldn’t have seen it, the mutant Huns came out with a banner during the first half. Something about Lawwell, the SFA and puppets. Absolute imbeciles.

  8. On hun site ff….

Nah, the Dhaily Retard is setting the tone already, as some “Rangers yobs” had a banner on some bridge against McGuinnes. Make no mistake who will be the offenders in the media, they are having a field day.

Apparently the GB had a banner today saying ” A uniform so simple in it’s style”, and one of our Bhoys has posted the words of “A Broad Black Brimmer” on their ff site.

Huns are reading the word uniform”, and posting about child abuse by tarriers ?????????

As the great old Terry Thomas would say…. ” What an absolute Shower”….hahaha

  9. Setting Free The Bears

Nice wee send from the Bhoys for Danny.

I thought it might be a nervy affair today (us – the treble, and an undefeated season; them – stopping us), but it sounds BR had the team well prepared to go for it from the outset. More of the same next week would be great, but I’d take a draw just to keep the undefeated season going…

Undefeated? That would really be something … and think of the fun we could have with the zombies about that!

SFTB… condolences on the loss of your brother Danny,

    may he rest in peace.

Like you I thought we might not be at our best as the pressure was all on us. Treble to play (most important) and the unbeaten domestic season (a big achievement but nothing like a treble).

I was delighted to see the control, the confidence, the intelligence and the dignified superiority of our Bhoys. But for 5 mins here or there we were unbeatable from the first to the last minute.

  13. ff site…some huns arguing with each other ( surprise)….some angry with others that a GB Banner is ALL they are worried about after watching their mob getting gubbed.

    hahaha

  14. Brendan is a cheeky wee devil, he stitched up Brother Pedro at the FT whistle. The Huns will be foaming out their mouths after that embrace.

  15. 6 Clean sheets to the season of a lifetime (67 excluded)

    FOR THE YOUNG WANS

  16. Nonchalant from the kick off we were clearly supporting a side that had been told before the game, we were better and would win. Patrick Roberts is way to good to be continually called from a bench and Brendan’s switch proved a key change.

From the moment he was scythed but still got the ball away the writing was on the Sevco wall, as Celtic strolled towards the cup final, although we didn’t have a goals fest I’ve never been so comfortable with a one nil lead, at half time.

Callum McGregor more than justified the managers undoubted tactical nous but Celtic won any conceivable duel player for player, even though we seemed to settle for 2-0 very early as part of the bigger plan. The Celtic end decided it was a day to go through the song book, and they flowed one after another almost in unison with the passing at the back.

Rested players ( Lustig and Boyata ) slotted in, and stiffened our back four which constricted Sevco to half chances, when the match was already won. Scott Brown bossed the midfield and was more than ably assisted by Suart Armstrong, in a team result that magnified the gulf personnel class.

The game was crystal clear for Sevco they’ve assembled a squad of inferior players, SMSM and the third bestest manager in Quatar can only do so much but no matter how hard they try the more obvious it becomes, they really aren’t Rangers any more.

    M.O.M Scott Brown

  17. MIT.

I replied to your post last night about James Baldwin etc, just before 7am this morning on the last blog. Thanks for the heads up.

    Hail Hail.

    Scott Brown brilliant today.

Delighted for Calum, he takes a bit of stick at times, he played well today and his finish was outstanding.

  18. The huns don’t like their superiority complex being shown up for the nonsense it is.

They will be upset that Pedro thought it was a football match.

Walter will be brought into dressing room next week to tell them the proper approach.

Halliday will be berated for only making one leg breaking tackle.

They will shown the Boughera video against Keane where 8 fouls after being booked he was still on park to have a wee jolly wrestle with the ref.

The thought of being humped by us all season is to terrifying for them to accept.

Injuring our players so they miss cup final will be their priority.

Sorry to read about your loss!

I’m sure he is looking down on us with a smile today.

  20. SFTB

Sorry to read about the passing of your brother.

    Rest in peace Danny.

Prayers said for those who remain.

  21. Setting Free The Bears

Sincere condolences to you and your family and friends on the loss of your brother.

    Take care.

  22. Just in from watching the game at the Bramalea celtic club

Good game but took the foot of the gas in the 2nd half.

Booked a trip back home a few weeks ago, for the 50th Anniversary celebrations I have tickets for the last home game v mini huns, Henrik V Lubo game and the Lisbon Lion’s concert on the 25th. So now looking for a single ticket for the cup final to round off what will be a great week, a big ask but looking to the power of CQN to help me out, email paulbhoys@gmail.com if you are able to get your hands on a spare ticket
