I honestly don’t care how you, the quiz book or Wiki want to try and spin this.
I understand figures, I have been a gambler for nigh on 50 years, dealing with figures, odds daily for nearly 50 years gives me a small insight into odds, it’s 1/1 all day long, stat people could make it whatever they want but it doesn’t change the fact it 1/1.
My last on the subject, I can only take so much banging my head off the wall , when people don’t want to see what is staring them in the face it’s pointless.
Although we often hear the “statistic” that you are 30% or even 70% more likely to keep having the same gender, this is just an old wives tale. It is NOT a fact. The truth is, your odds stay pretty close to 50% for each child and only vary slightly. If you have had 2 or 3 boys, you are only very slightly more likely to have another boy. If you have had girls, you are slightly more likely to have a boy next. Don’t believe that you can “only make” boys or girls — most likely, it’s only chance!

Disgraceful ref decision in Liverpool game.
Mane has deliberate hand ball given against him but does not get a second deserved yellow as per rules.
Watched some of huns game and differing standards applied to both teams obvious
Huns constantly play through back opponent without committing fouls. On every occasion a Motherwell player went into back of a hun a foul was given against.

Not convinced with our team selection today.

The question wasn’t about genetics, it was a stats question., which was read incorrectly.
It didn’t have to be about kids could’ve been about anything.

It’s not a chance event though. The dice appear to be slightly loaded by some sort of biological influence.
There will be an evolutionary advantage to that somewhere in the mix.
I agree with you re the ref in the Liverpool game as it states….
Stopping a promising attack by holding, pulling, pushing or handball, in the laws of the game, ball was on the Liverpool penalty area line with 2 Palace players breaking into the area.
If that is not stopping a promising attack I do not know what is.
Think referee gave him a break because Mane thought he had been fouled, however he had already been given a yellow for simulation so why not a second yellow?

MOUSSA Dembele will lead the Celtic attack this afternoon as the champions return to action in the Scottish Premiership against Ross County at Paradise.
The Hoops striker continued his brilliant run of form with the France Under-21s last week, helping them to a 3-0 win over Kazakhstan in the U19 European Championship qualifiers.
He weighed in with a stunning goal from a free-kick which took his tally to eight goals in 11 appearances for his national side.
Brendan Rodgers’ options in attack have been strengthened by the return from injury of Leigh Griffiths, who is available for the first time since January and is on the bench for today’s game.
With Kieran Tierney still not fully recovered from a calf injury, Callum McGregor continues at left-back, having featured there in Celtic’s last game against Motherwell.
Mikael Lustig and Scott Sinclair, cover star of today’s match programme, come into the side at the expense of Jack Hendry and Odsonne Edouard in the two changes to the team.
Kick-off at Celtic Park is 3pm, and all the pre-match build-up and live updates will be available on the club’s official Twitter account – @CelticFC.

Some quality on the bench today.
Mildly surprising line up, sees old favourites back in the starting line up as we look to increase our lead over nearest rivals Aberdeen.
Sell out crowd as absence has made the heart grow fonder.
