As you know, I am not great with the finances.
Paul67’s recent plea of poverty on behalf of Celtic was a bit overdone. I can imagine how frustrated he was to be still reading “Where’s the Seville Money?” type posts after all these years but he over-egged his reply.
Yes, we are suffering financially and as an attractive place to play football, with Rangers absence (No, I don’t want them back; I just recognise that we have been hit financially by their absence, in some regards)
Yes, there is a recession.
Yes, we gave up some transfer money to reduce SBs by £100
Yes, we need to keep money to develop outside the ground and for a rainy day.
But, but, but, we have sold Wanyama, Hooper & Wilson so we still have money for 1 or 2 to add to the Boerigter, Balde, Van Dijk and Moykoulo signings. I still expect to see signings.

Interesting that Lennon says a fee agreed for Pukki. He seems a scorer of great goals rather than a great goal scorer. We won’t be selling him for a profit if he doesn’t bang them in. Really hope there is room for negotiating a move for Finbogasson.
