  1. Rather than Boyata being in the shop window maybe Brendan is giving him a chance to prove he can stay

  2. Ron Bacardi-8:28pm yesterday-that might be your opinion,it’s not mine,my comment was for TD only

  3. Hunderbirds are Gone on

Hopefully Boyata is just in the windae. Bitton too hopefully. I used to be a fan but it’s his personality, he can’t change.

If we persevere with him, he will cost us in the big games, cost us ah tell ye (to be said in a Corporal Fraser voice)

However, he is playing so c’mon big Nir.

  4. Pleased with the team, with squad rotation in effect and a few that have not been automatic first picks given their chance. Boyata finding a vein of form now will leave Brendan scratching his napper, with the riches he finds himself with in central defence.

Experimentation in effect with SA playing in a more advanced position.

Lots of quality on the bench, what’s not to like?

    HH

  5. Those that have been branded failures, bomb scares, roasters etc etc in the past have a clean slate with Brendan, he is quoted as having said so himself.

If he is starting them, they must have been showing signs of improvement in training, and ready for a wee shot to please the coaches. Sub-par performances will simply see them moved on in the summer.

It’s now up to them to follow the young Teuchter Armstrong’s example and implement themselves in Brendan’s vision.

  6. Was hoping to make it tonight but nae luck. Looking forward to following the game on CQN. Thanks in advance for all the updates.

Was at Celtic Park for a conference the day Broonie signed. Doorman told me something big was going on. Later revealed it was Broonie. Went home on cloud nine. What a ghuy he’s turned out to be. Thanks for everything young man.

My cousins are in the Parlour bar in NYC tonight watching the game

Shouldn’t be too busy I suspect

  8. As I recall, Gamboa had a fine outing just before the sunshine break.

No doubt he has been taken under the wing of his fellow Central American Izzy, and schooled in the dark arts of “Scottish physicality”.

Not really the moment , nevertheless on doing the 6.30 am catch up , I came across the above.

A marvellous incentive to remind myself to read some more Rabbie Burns.

    Thanks.

  10. “In Brendan we trust”,supposedly. When it comes to his team selections, the would be managers, have to have their wee disagreements with his choices.

How does that work, enlighten me.We all have favourites, but the manager sees the players every day, knows what he is looking at,and going by his record this season,I think I will bow to his knowledge.

Like everyone else should, that”Trusts in Brendan”.

  11. TD-9:12am- you just love the fame don’t you?say something controversial, say it’s only an opinion and then sit back.If that floats your boat, happy sailing

I was hoping I would catch you on the blog.

Resting up just now, so last night was reading up on old Celtic v St J games.

What a write up your Dad gets in the 1969 league cup final. The report says if it wasn’t for him and Bobby Murdoch the cup may have gone to Perth.

I’m sure you know that already but my perspective it was lovely to read.

    Hail Hail.
