I was very impressed with the whole team today. Thought the link up play and work from Eddy was immense. He complemented everyone around him. Think he is developing into a great player, alongside RC. Getting to the group stages of CL would help the further development of this young, hungry looking team.

I had a wee shilling or two on Cluj to win with both teams scoring tonight, they were getting beat 1-0 by Chinidia ? At half time but sadly they won 4-1…
Wednesday will be a step up again but I would take Cluj 0… just now, a wee 2-1 draw would be magic .. a Celtic win terrific :-)

Thanks for the replies,it all bods well for the season ahead.
Seems like the fog from last summer which carried through until Brendan Rodgers departure has been well and truly lifted. This is a united Celtic and one which has cleared it’s head and lifted a heavy weight from its shoulders. Neil Lennon deserves huge credit for what appears to be a very content, confident and focused group of footballers. There will be bumps along the way but i believe we will not be stopped in our quest for 9 in a row.

What a turn of fate regarding young Christie, could easily have ended up at hibs or some other mid table team took his chance and has been brill well done Ryan. I think you answered your own question . Not much the ref could do to stop us today , all he could do was keep it to 7!-))
I think with the attacking options we have Celtic could score a couple on Wednesday we are very quick and have players with excellent close control and carry a threat from many areas, that is hard to defend against if we get a couple of away goals it would give us a right chance, plenty pace at the back as well, so I’m confident of going through against club.

Tremendous performances all over the field but first & foremost a huge well down to Lenny. He has the team buzzing . N’tcham is back, Mikey is flying, Griff is back, Christie is fast heading to legend status but the man who most impressed me today was French Eddy. Thought he was absolutely brilliant. Good & all as Christie played, I’d have voted fro French Eddie for M.O.M..
