I said before the start that it should be Welsh and Ajer in central defence. How can you play Ajer at right back? It seems that St Mirren are another team with a better manager than ours.

The nightmare continues. Just what the hell has happened to our team? (apart from the coaches, Duffy and most of the others).
At least Welsh is a defender. The mistakes Lennon continually makes with this squad. Yet he is allowed to keep making them over and over again.
I hope the new guy is assessing what we have which doesnt look much , desperate state to be in, a complete squad rebuild and a full football management team, disgraceful state of affairs.

What is the point of giving Shane Duffy any more game time.?
He won’t help us win anything significant this season and won’t be here next season.
I’d rather we gave one of our own young players the game time and let them get experience.
Exactly HJ, just more evidence that Lenny is slipping badly. And as VALE BHOY said, Elyanoussi for the same reason, as well as the fact he is pretty poor so far. Then again, who is starring today?
Bossed on your own park by St Mirren – dear oh dear. We have no automatic right to run over any team, but playing second to to a team with a fraction of our resources suggests a malaise that’s affecting even our good players. Just about every ball that’s cleared from their defence ends up being collected by one of their players, sometimes unchallenged.
Leaving Neil Lennon in charge is doing untold damage to our Club and these players. The rebuild job gets bigger by the week

As for Scott Robertson heading back down south, did he come back because of COVID or did the Gills return him surplus tae requirements, if no why did he no go back down there.

The crucial point of the season was arguably the scenes outside CP which led PL and DD too batten down the hatches rather than doing what was needed then.
Our reputation as fans and our reputation as a club have taken a beating this year.
We were, notwithstanding the superiority complex of other leagues’ fans, held in some esteem around Europe and the world. We are a complete laughing stock now and it’s all self inflicted. It was also predicted over the past few seasons when we didn’t build on a very advantageous situation to build a generation of domination- when the PLC focused on one club across the Clyde rather than the premier clubs across the continent.

I have actually seen worse than Duffy.Frank Munroe.2 OGs in his first game,and went down hill from there.
Duffy is embarrassed himself.Lenny has lost it totally.
Our defending may yet cost us second place in the league . Duffy can head a ball but in every other aspect he is one of the worst defenders I’ve seen in a Celtic shirt .
We need to be quicker and more direct . 20 passes to try to get through the massed ranks of defenders or to get a poor cross in .
Jim Goodwin’s tactics have them on top for all our possession . I wish we had someone in the dugout to alter our approach accordingly .

Can any one explain why once again griff is standing off the park instead of being in the 6 yard box when Turnbull is taking the corners , you are the centre forward.

Big Duffy – what to say?
A huge Celtic supporter I am sure, and really wants to be great, strong – a giant in the Celtic team. Not many players playing regularly in England would leave and come up to Scotland.
But…he must be the worst centre-back I’ve seen playing at Celtic. Worse than Big McGoo.
I really feel the big guy’s hurt.
But then I recall that he’s reportedly on £45K a week, and the pity turns towards anger – not necessarily at him per-se, but at whoever scouted him and sanctioned the transfer.
Instead of – for instance – the boy Mark McKenzie from USA who is reported to be a VVD clone.
Or anyone else who isn’t absolutely, fekin rank fekin rotten!!!

Duffy is picked by his manager, every game.

Meanwhile Welsh isn’t developed.
Duffy looks like a “soccer aid” player where he bid the highest for the jersey to play at Celtic park.
I saw Paul McGuigan and Lex Baillie in the flesh , these guys were miles ahead if Duffy
