NEW bhoy Gustaf Lagerbiekle makes his Celtic debut this afternoon – just four days after sealing his £3million move from Elfsborg.

The Swedish centre-back will line up alongside Maik Nawrocki in the heart of the Hoops rearguard for the Viaplay League Cup-tie against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Norwegian midfielder Odin Thiago Holm also takes the place of David Turnbull in Brendan Rodgers’ starting line-up.

TEAM: Hart; Ralston, Nawrocki, Lagerbielke, Taylor; Holm, McGregor, O’Riley; Abada, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Bain, Scales, Haksabanovic, Yang, Turnbull, Kwon, Iwata, Bernabei, Forrest.

Earlier in the day, we asked how much you could remember about recent encounters against Killie in CQN’s fun five-minute quiz.

Now we repeat the questions and provide the answers.

KILLIE CRACKER…Moritz Jenz sends an acrobatic effort into the opponents’ net in Celtic’s 5-0 win at Rugby Park in August last year. (See Question 2.)

QUESTIONS:

1: Five players have left Celtic from the team that beat Kilmarnock 2-0 in the Viaplay League Cup semi-final in January. Can you name them?

2: Celtic beat Killie 5-0 in the Premiership in August last year. Four of the goalscorers have since moved on. Three are involved in the first question – can you remember the other player?

3: A Celtic ace claimed four goals all season and two came in the same game at Rugby Park when the champions triumphed 4-1 in April. Can you name him?

4: True or false: Kyogo Furuhashi missed a penalty-kick against Killie last season?

5: Beware! Trick question: Celtic claimed 13 goals against Derek McInnes’ team last term. Was there a Scots-born player among the scorers?

ANSWERS:

1: Josip Juranovic, Carl Starfelt, Aaron Mooy, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Filipe Jota.

2: Jota, Giakoumakis, Starfelt and Moritz Jenz.

3: Matt O’Riley.

4: True. Kyogo hit a spot-kick off the post with the Hoops leading 4-0 in the first-half.

5: Killie defender Ash Taylor was credited with an own goal for Celtic’s second in the 2-0 league win at Parkhead in January.

Well done if you got five out of five – go to the top of the class!
