Brown was excellent today.
Also Craig obviously got the message and worked on his distribution as it was first class.
So happy the Simo deal fell through as he is really starting to play.
Perplexed by the decline of Paddy as he looks tentative and nervous.Has he been told to concentrate on being a team player and this has reduced his potency?
Consumately professional win, where we needn’t rely on the number of goals scored but a solidity of the goal we took.
Supreme selection from Brendan where he already knows what his squad players provide, and he doesn’t need to test them at the expense of his first choice securing 3 points.

Then it’s 3 games in 8 days all in Glasgow.

Brilliant result after Wednesday’s exertions, well done Celtic.
Hope all the hootaneers enjoy their gathering. Sorry I’m missing it but only a wee drive back to Piper Dam for a walk in the woods followed by a couple of afternoon pints.

Haven`t seen the game so cannot give any worthwhile comment. I did see , though, that once again we committed many more fouls than the opposition even though we had near to 70% possession. That , I am guessing, is pretty normal for games Celtic play in Scotland. Does the same thing happen in our European games? Does it happen to other teams in Scotland who dominate possession?

Competent performance, three points and a clean sheet.
Perfectly happy with that after Wednesday’s exertions.
F*** the international break, but at least some of the players will get a well-earned rest.

Gordon Dalziel slaughtering The Twat and Ned Garner on Radio Clyde. He said to Keevins that there is “no way in the world” The Rangers will win the league.
Garner is very ordinary and not worth the money – he said Celtic got Griffiths and Dembele for the same money!
Warburton doesn’t know his best 11 and has reverted to his Championship winning team: “What does that tell you about his signings?”
Only caught the second half, you could see one would be enough. Hartley had his players ready, blocking shots, breaking up the play and plugging up the middle.
Even though he did not have a lot of work I thought Gordon looked much more into the game today, I guess the arrival of Doris has made a difference in his outlook.
Take a well deserved win and move on

Wonderful performance from Scott today as he dominated midfield, drove play forward and of course scored the winning goal.
I wonder how much of his improvement is down to withdraw from Scotland games and be able to recover from the inevitable knocks and bruises he picks up in the course of a match.
Evening all. Just wanted to post from my second home:Borneo. Knackered but happy as the C eltic won.

CORKCELT, re: your earlier post, I must admit I was one who was starting to write Lustig off. I wrote after the Hapoel Be’er Shiva game that I thought it was a season too far for him.
I am extremely happy that he is currently making me eat my words! He played very well on Wednesday and looks back to his best. We will see if BR agrees because his contract is up at the end of this season.
Scott Brown ,IMO, is playing the best football of his career right now. At Celtic Park, I have made him MotM on every occasion. I am happy to see it go to others but it is quite obvious that Broonie is at the centre of everything we do on the pitch. I wonder if Mike in Toronto sees Scott in a different light now?
