Great goals too, despite Burley’s miserablism. Stand-out performances from Brown, Wanyama, Mulgrew, and Forrest. Big plus marks to Sammi as well, who worked very hard in a difficult wide position.
Motherwell? My Calcio- Italiano corrupt-o-meter is going haywire…
Great three points today Celts, ten wins in a row is no mean feat in clugger land SPL, usual insipid performance from Herr Brines. Big Vic is growing into that jersey with every passing game.
Add to that a wonderful strike from Anto and a good days work from all of our players.
Starting to look as though we can any game. This could be a good year,.a very good year.

PETERHEAD V CELTIC TICKETS STILL ON SALE
The club would like to take this opportunity to remind you that there are still tickets available for the Peterhead v Celtic match on Sunday 8th January 2012, in the 4th Round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Tickets are for standing only (no seating available) and are priced at £18.00. No concessions are available for this match.
Supporters may now buy an unlimited number of tickets for the Peterhead end (Celtic end tickets not available from Balmoor).
Much of Peterhead’s success has come in cup competitions, none more so than the Aberdeenshire Cup, which they have won 20 times, most recently in 1998-99.
Peterhead are also five times winners of the Highland League Cup, and six times winners of the Scottish Qualifying Cup (North). In addition they hold one Aberdeenshire Shield, again won in the highly successful 1998-99 campaign.
Peterhead Join the Scottish League
Just eleven days into the new millennium, Peterhead were voted into the Scottish Football League along with fellow Highland League side Elgin City, compensating for the loss of two clubs to the expanded Scottish Premier League (SPL).
It is believed that the move from Recreation Park to the modern Balmoor Stadium, which was opened on September 28 1997, had much to do with the decision although the move was not so popular among some of the community in the town. Recreation Park was bought by the supermarket chain Safeway, and is now a Morrisons store (just like Ibrox will be haha).
What impressed me most today was that we played as a team – working hard for each other.
McCall is a disgrace but we all knew that before today.
Notthebus – can’t really argue with Guidi’s comments – Bangura makes Andy Peyton look like Henrik , and Hooper has not been putting in enough of a shift recently.
That said – it’s a great time to be a hoop.

the long wait is over on
Result was everything today.
Performance largely irrelevant.
If we can find a genuine 6 yard box poacher we’ll romp this league.
Hooper needs to be coached to make better runs to the front post – we’d probably have scored another three at least today if he did that better.
Overall no complaints.

” 2m wasted on Bangura, write it off, Hooper too selfish, takes his place for granted”
You would think we had lost
Well played Celtic, another good 3 points to stay top.
‘Well made up the numbers as usual in the game against their cousins.
IZZY: Great to see the wee man back again. Looks as sharp as ever: he could even have had a goal at the end if Stoksie had held back.
