LETHAL Leigh Griffiths, Celtic’s in-form frontman, has won the Premiership Player of the Month award for October.
The prolific Scotland international striker, who also claimed the prize in August, helped Ronny Deila’s side win all four league games last month.
Griffiths netted in the 2-1 win at Hamilton and the 5-0 victory over Dundee United before grabbing a double in the 3-1 defeat of Aberdeen to take his Premiership tally for the season to 11 goals ahead of today’s game against Ross County in Dingwall.
The monthly awards are voted for by members of the Scottish media, with a Manager and a Player of the Month selected for each of the four divisions.
