Decent first half from us, Griffiths could have added to the lead.
Forrest having his best game for a while, wonder if that’ a coincidence?
I thought the ref wasn’t too bad, until he gave the penalty, clear daylight between Tierney and the diving cheat.
Back at them from the whistle and we will win.

We really need two hard midfielders.

Hearts is always a difficult ground to get points from and today’s 2nd half will be another such occasion. Apart from their falsely won penalty- they have scorned an open goal and had several shooting chances, as have we.
The game will be won by whoever takes their chances now.
BTW- Andy Walker has always been consistent on this- agree with him or not. He is stating that cheating to win penalties was part of the game when he was a young pro breaking through and he learned to adapt and do the same as a player. He is telling the truth in saying that pens have been won by going down against minimal or expected contact both by Celtic players and by their opponents.
The big difference is in the willingness of Scottish refs to award in those contrasting situations.
Brown playing very well but we can only play 1 of McGregor or Armstrong. Playing both makes us to lightweight. I’d play Mcgregor 1st. He’s a better and more effective footballer than Armstrong.
The defence is a bit shaky but that’s normal seeing as they haven’t really played together.
Forrest had a couple of great moments. If could be more involved and consistent he has something to offer.
Griffiths needs to readjust his shooting boots. Dumbbell not doing much but on a couple of occasions when running at the defence he cause panic.

Watt is still a handful. A waste of talent.

JF playing well, just needs to mix it up.
Other than Brown, there is no protection in front of our defence. Hearts finding it too easy to get up on to our back line. Agree we should get Johansen and Sinclair on.
We could be 3 ahead, need to take our chances. Go for it Celtic.

Overall I think the players have performed well. But Armstrong and McGregor have not.

Cheating is part of the game the question is what to do when it’s as obvious as their penalty. Walker clearly thinks making such a comment is enough if that is the response then cheating will take over.
