No. I too don’t believe that Naismith will be getting a retrospective ban either.

Still if you hear a soft knock on your door tonight….

Back in from a walk on the beach and have just read the latest statement from Mr Impecunious.

I had to reload, review and recheck – it had all the trappings of one of Aw Naw’s best.

It is gibberish of the highest order that ignores not one but a herd of elephants in the room.

That he chose to reveal his news to only his personally selected media becomes another elephant trying to squeeze it’s erchie into room already full to bursting with pachyderms.

The well of city investors is non existent.

The well of RRM has been dry for at least 2 years.

The well of banks of last resort has bottomed out.

The well of fans cash is all that is left. By giving them a celebrity as manager who is so up for the job he won’t start for a month will dupe enough of them into throwing more money into the dark & bottomless pit that is this club.

Excuses trotted out by RRM pretending to be pundits for the June 1 start were hysterical.

“He’s got media commitments, so fair enough.”

Oh that’s ok then. Plenty if time to sprinkle his magic dust.

Their fans & the media are at it all again. Refuse to exercise any critical thinking, accept all the fairy tales you are fed because it’s what you want to hear. It means you don’t have to change your worldview, your mindset or the fabric of your life built around & infantile nonsense or wishful thinking.

I asked a question on twitter last week when I read all the gushing nonsense about that club from the likes of Shearer, Lawrenson, Wright, Wise in England & McLeish, McCoist etc in Scotland.

When were they last/ever a well run, successful football club?

Take out the last 6 years.

    Take out the DOS/EBT years.

Take out the Murray years preceding that (BofS loan funded)

Take out much of our nine-in-a-row.

We’re left with their 1972 ECWC win and being losing finalists in same competition in 1967.

Before 1965, they dominated the game in Scotland when we offered no serious opposition and when few other clubs were consistent challengers.

Their business plan was & still is founded upon complacency, entitlement & hubris & has never been sustainable. It remains unsustainable today because their culture cannot consider any alternative. They had chances to change but have always taken the gamblers route to success – with usually a gamblers luck.

Richard Gordon: ‘If we take Dave King’s words at face value’. The fact a judge has described him as ‘a glib and shameless liar’ seems to have been forgotten by dear old Richard.

The patsies on Sportsound were trying to spin that the money Gerrard has (or lack thereof) will not matter as, well, it’s Stevie G and players will come for nothing to play for him.

One of them even said it will be similar to Zidane at Real Madrid.

I really wonder who these guys think they’re broadcasting to. They take us for complete idiots.

  3. GENE loggarheads is great for the dugs cant understand them welsh roadsigns tho what does araf mean.hh.

To be fair…nobody said that..what was said was if SG asks a player to come up ….they will.

Some great stuff from today! Have to disagree with slightly though. Rangers did not dominate the league first part of the 1960s. Hearts were Champions in 1960, Dundee in 1962 and Kilmarnock 1965. Killie were runners-up four times in this period. Of course they did win in 1961,63 and 64, and with players like Baxter, Henderson, Brand and Caldow they were a very good team, but ‘dominant’ a la 1990s no. No comfort to Celtic fans at the time true, but it wasn’t until 1975 would they win it again. Not sure what happened in between. You are right about the Bank of Scotland, wasn’t for them well we know the rest. Keep up the good fight!

Tony Ralston just scored (big deflection)

  12. Jobo Baldie on

  15. GENE, llandudno, lovely place not a great beach, but got the wide promenade, the aerial railway line, last time i was there walking along the promenade spots a man in a wheelchair, thought i know that bloke, quiz question he used to be about 30 stone when i seen him in the wheelchair he was about 8 stone clue mp for rochdale.hh

  16. Big Packy,

Doesn’t the Horseshoe Pass end up in the Valley Crucis? There’s an ancient Cistercian Monastery ruin there, if memory serves. (I take it it was one of those destroyed by Henry VIII.)

  17. ALMORE, not been, but joan has it in her bucket list, but i also have john o groats in mine being scottish.hh.

  18. Some of the Livi stuff is out of the dark ages, shocking, as for the referee, at the end of the day it’s his assessor who is to blame, where in the real world would incompitance be rewarded apart from the scottish refereeing fraternity.

Fair play to Brendan for coming out and slagging the game for being the hammer throwing crap that it is, yet they won’t listen as it’s coming from us, I have said it many many times, if the huns decide to change their mo and actually play football, the referees would change with them, tis a FACT.

There is a sandy beach on the west shore round the other side of the Gt Orme

  20. After Kings announcement of a debt/Equity swap which does not produce any money and their turnover at around the £29M of the last figures. Even with £6m of new money which will not last 6 months of funding the running deficit, where can they afford to pay Gerrard and his team on top of all the other coaches they are still paying for.

What sort of money will Gerrard have for transfers? Where is it coming from?

Every Tim blog can see through the Lying King even some of the Orcs. How can Gerrard and his advisors not see through Kings Drivel

  21. PARKHEADCUMSALFORD dont know pal but that was some feckin ride she aint driving again down that road id rather have bmcuw driving me down that road only joking bobby hh.

  22. Jobo Baldie on

Based on the first hour tonight I’d rather not have Livingston anywhere near the top flight. I fully accept that teams ‘play to their strengths’ but some of Livingston’s attempted tackling tonight has been shocking.

  23. Hi Bhoys

Looking for some help here bhoys. Does anyone know of anyway to get my niece’s photograph taken with KT. She adores him and his Celtic attitude. She turns 15 in June and when asked what she would like for her birthday she said a photo with KT. She has recently moved in with my wife and I and this would an amazing birthday present for her.
