  1. A poor performance, passing was very poor especially from Izzy, looked like we had no idea on how to break down a team who never gave us any time and defended in depth. We play at a slow tempo, straight across the park, we need a playmaker who can unlock defences.

It was me who wrote that sentence. I fully stand by it. There is nobody in the Celtic starting XI who makes you get off your seat in excitement

We are desperate for some creativity in this current side

  3. It sounded like a home game from earlier in the season. The team do need a more creative midfield but should still have done better.

If Neil Lennon can talk publicly about dropping only five more points. Platini can surely be allowed to dismiss the opposition as easily as he has. Two more draws is the minimum standard that he desires.

Why make a rod for our own back ?

If we are incapable of breaking down well organised defencies in the SPL wait until we meet Juventus.

Congratulations to Hibs. Well organised stuck to the plan. Our possession and passing today has been poor and the surface was not that bad ?

I wish more players would show the urgency that Charles Mulgrew shows.

Is Ambrose really good enough to be shunted about to three different positions in two games ?

Did Kayal really need rested or did he feel like he was dropped ?

What has Paddy done recently that stops Mcgeough getting a game ?

Why does Vic and Ambrose keep giving the ball away ?

Why are we no longer physically imposing ourselves on the opposition.

Thought we were unimaginative today. Going through the motions. Ordinary. Fenlon tactically more astute.

Yes we missed chances. Their keeper played well. Thomson done nothing but we lost today due to how predictable we have become I feel.

Mulgrews delivery might have got us some points but without that there is no plan B

  5. so we need a creative midfielder, any thoughts? im not sure we will sign anyone in jan.

Aw Naw. I dont usually agree with you but that is in my opinion a fair summing up of todays game.As others have said we need a creative midfielder wither we will get one is another matter.H.H.

OK spelling checker switched on and a bigger font from me. I promise

  8. Regarding team selection and positions. I would have thought this is the ideal time to try things out. Some may work, some may not. If you don’t try you’ll never know. And what you learn may prove to be useful when we play more important games.

  9. We desperately need another striker who knows how to strike.

There are too many at the moment picking up wages and delivering next to nothing.

We also need a midfielder who can see a forward pass through tight defences.Alas, both are not going to come cheap.

    Go get us both Neil.

P.s That’s No dig at Sammi,it’s about getting someone to partner Hooper every week.

  10. Joe Filippis Haircut,

to be honest in my opinion some one will only come in if others go and i dont mean ones who are being let go

  11. Another rubbish performance and result. NL sometimes displays an unwarranted arrogance and then gets his commupance. Very poor team, poor tactics and when you bring Paddy McCourt on you know you are desperate.

    Pathetic.

  12. Radio Shortbread asking for Celtic supporters to phone in regarding the worst scenes in 20 years at Dens.

How did that go with the 8 arrests at Ibrokes? Hunbelievable!!!

danso1888. You may well be right if big bids come in for any of our players it will be interesting to see if we refuse them.H.H.

    Awe_Naw_No_Annoni_Oan_Anaw_Noo , @ 17 : 02 Salve salve ;-

Just about sums it up for me, I am dissapointed that Tony Watt and young Dylan have not been getting the game time they deserve. Playing against two banks of four, your forwards must press the back four all the time. Still well done Hibees I hope more fans will turn out to watch you.

    Greenwells.

  15. Signing off for a few hours at least to rest my head. Thank God there is a game on Wed. If we don’t do well there twill be a disaster the Moaners will have control of the board for 17 days. Thank God I’m off to Lanzarote during the break. i’d crack up.

  16. Joe Filippis Haircut,

i very much doubt it we will refuse big bids after all money is the god of football now whether we like it or not and thats just the way it is.

  17. Aw had just announced my departure when I spotted the arrival of NegAnon. Good on you m8, I knew you wouldn’t let me down. By the way is your name a shortcut for Negativity Anonymous. Bye all for sure this time.

  18. Didn’t see the game.

Mikael Lustig is all over the SKY and BBC commentary by text.

    Hardly a mention on here.

Who am I to believe? Was he playing or just filling a jersey?

  19. Thought hooper was poor not enough movement or workrate i dont think he ran into the channels once to stretch hibs, too static and easy to defend against

  20. Disgraceful performance…not the first, why on earth does Lennon keep picking players who have let the club down. We have injuries a good lead so why not show some faith in the young talent we have at the club. Young guns are bursting for a chance, yet today again we see McGeough gets 3 mins while others get the nod and fail us again.

Flat, listless, lazy…no way would our younger players have allowed themselves to be 2nd or 3rd to the loose balls as we were today.

Cut them loose Lennon….they can put real fire in the belly, show the desire needed to wear a Celtic shirt. Too many posers on the park again.

  21. corkcelt,

if people want to vent frustration they can after all its a blogg, better letting it out than stewing i would think.

  22. Sack the board

    Sack Lennon

    Sack mcgrain

    Sack dolph

    Sack RA lot of them

  23. Neganon2

    I thought Paddy played well.

He showed some initiative and creativity.

He also checked back on a couple of threatening Hibs attacks.

Hooper and Lassad didn’t show up today and that limits our goalscoring threat.

No need to panic, well maybe when it comes to paying Rogne at centre back. He’s a bit like Bambi on ice.

We will forget this game come January as the preparation and excitement builds for the visit of the “Old Lady.”

  24. Look like we will stutter along and eventually win the league but what bothers me is the cups. After the way we lost last year in the cups, I really want to win the treble this year but we are no better a team than this time last year AND we have lost our scoring touch. Too many bad days at the office is telling us something. I thought we had turned the corner at the Killie game. Not so.

    Hail Hail
